Most actors start as ''underrated''. It's breakout performances like in TWD and Beef that makes them A list. He'll be A list very soon.

I’m so happy Steven is having his moment, he truly deserves it , beef was an amazing show. Every character he plays brings a full life into them. I can’t wait to see his future projects.

He definitely deserves awards for his acting in beef. Especially the church scene

Steven, the moment I saw you on Walking Dead, I was hooked by your acting. Your character of Glenn was the most loved & your connection with Maggie was the best one. When you left WTD, there was a void. You are amazing, keep working hard!
Imo I thought his acting in TWD was a little cheesy and cliche. But his acting in beef was fantastic
it seems he isn’t aware of the impact he had as Glenn on TWD. a lot of ppl stopped watching after his character was no longer apart of it.
@@stackerman2800 I loved the “cheese” You need to remember he was just a young adult at the beginning. His character was a delivery boy and kind of nerdy. He grew over the years to a strong character beloved by many

One of the few actors who has only ever been in exceptional films - every single thing he’s ever been in have been above and beyond
I find his performance in Beef, Minari and Burning so outstanding by just how different the characters feel. They are all so completely different but feel just as genuine and intense.
watch the walking dead it is what he is most known for and the walking dead is an AMAZING show
Steven is also a fantastic voice actor. He’s performances in Voltron and Invincible were both excellent!
I was a little disappointed they didn’t have him watch an invincible clip
I think it says a lot that Steven about Steven's character that he focuses on other people in the screen and talks about how wonderful they are, instead of just focusing on himself.
He is SUCH an underrated actor, and he can SING!
He got nominated for an Oscar and lately he's in a lot of movies and tv shows, he's not underrated

I guess this is one aspect of American culture that everybody is obsessed with rating a star. Well, how about rating our own lives. He's not living in a gunshot street and he doesn't unfairly take advantage of poor people. Not terribly bad nor is it too good, unlike some of our neighbors. And... why do you rate someone in the first place? One may think it's bad acting while others may love it.

I love the sincerity he has in all his roles, he's so human in every movie and show, even with outrageous concepts he encapsulates a human with incredible depth so well !!! There are no words to describe how his characters touch the viewers soul!
Crazy that a Netflix show has shot this actor up to being re-noticed by the public. His PR team have timed his promos really well with the release of Beef. Will definitely be checking out these other films he's been in great job man

I'll literally watch anything with Steven Yeun in it, he's incredible! I'm so happy we got a small glimpse of Burning (and of my favorite scene no less)! I still get chills for just thinking about his character in it

I just recently got around to watching his final episode in the Walking Dead as well as Beef. The love I have for him as an actor and humane is unreal. SO beyond talented and I hope he continues to rise!

i feel like his portrayal in Beef was so real and the character felt so realistic that i forgot i was watching a movie. he is super good
I felt like Steven Yeun's character in NOPE was way more interesting than the main protagonists. Would rather have seen a horror film based on the tragedy he had as a child than what we got.
Jupe and Jean Jacket were the real MVPs of that movie.

Steven was so amazing in Burning. His performance gave me chills, total psycho character. The way he laughs at Jong-su and yawns when Hae-mi is dancing conveys so much.

I don't understand why it's taken this long for him to pop off in the industry since leaving TWD. Extremely talented actor that I hope to see more and more of in the future.
Because he's mostly been in indie darlings!! But that's paid off because now he's got an impressive portfolio with zero misses!
Steven is also a great voice actor. He is great in Invincible and Avatar.

Analyzing and dissecting Nope was so much fun, especially Jupe and his trauma. It felt like watching an extremely polished ARG in the middle of this Sci Fi/Thriller and I loved it.
Everything he's done since the walking dead has been insanely good. like how he keeps nailing these great roles in these amazing films and shows is amazing

I’ve loved Steven since TWD, he was absolutely incredible as Jube. In a movie with so much going on he nailed being the subtle center of it.

YES. The collection of films he's chosen to be a part of have all been so special and representative of him. I'm sure he gets constant offers for various roles now but you can tell how much he values his craft. It's at the point where if I see his name associated with a project, I immediately know it's gonna be a banger.
Him as Mark in "Invincible" deserves an honorable mention.

He always, always picked interesting projects to be in. You can see the variety of his characters, but they all got this sincerity that's very unique to him.
I’m going to have to watch Beef now. The trailer made my teeth itch. It’s the only live action project of his that’s repelled me, but seeing that clip made me want to see it. He’s a big reason to watch something.
Look at his filmography at his young age. I reckon his appreciation for choosing projects guarantees his future career. He knows exactly what he is doing.

Having watched all of these projects except for Minari,I did a double take because he immerses himself so well you forget who the person behind the character is. Some of his characters are scary af ,you’d go Glen would never do that! Btw Beef is great!
I was really hoping to see Mayhem be reviewed. I absolutely love that movie with every fiber of my being. Definitely in my top 5s!
He has American accent in his korean but it kinda suits his character in that movie “burning” .
That was a deliberate casting choice by the director.

The people that recruited the cast for the first 3 season's of walking dead deserves so much praise. How he was able to get perfect actors and actresses for this particular show and they also happen to be "normal down to earth" people is just unheard of
