Big facts
💯💯I like this channel jus discovering it
So True
Fact
Bales move to Madrid was another case of “In the right place, at the right time.”
The Spanish giants already had a very strong team. I mean when you play in a league where pep guardiolas Barcelona exists you have to maintain the same pace.
Bales 12/13 season was magic. The man was quit literally unstoppable. When he joined Madrid he maintained the same level. Creating one of the best partnerships in football with Benz and CR7.
Winning the Champions League sealed his passage onto Elite level stardom.
It’s unfortunate the way he has been treated by not only Madrid fans but the Spanish media as well especially in recent years.
His decline has been one of the hardest to watch. Real Madrid have seen many players come and go throughout the years. Very few have been as influential as Bale was. Like it or not, Bale is a club legend.
Great comment. His body just seemed to let him down in recent years at Madrid and he obviously has been losing motivation (no thanks to the media/ ultras etc). As soon as I saw Madrid fans boo Ronaldo I knew that no one was safe haha
I as a Madridista, consider him notwithstanding injuries, a Madrid Legend, whether some other Madridistas like it or not...
I will always remember his first Madrid goal for the Copa del Rey against Barca. MAGICAL
I agree
@@ananmuadi31 The way I see it. Besides the Madridistas everyone considers him a legend in Real. But in my opinion, the Madridistas were always way to harsh on players becaue they are overly spoiled by the success of their team.
I used to listen to Tifo and Raymar for their commentary...but you starting to become one of my favourite
Thanks man!
Always loved Spurs but bale is the legend we will never forget
And u have him back bro do u think he'll be the same player
@@ivanhendy872 check out his stats for spurs!
Who do you like more bale or Kane?
It's crazy to think that at one point in time, Spurs had titans like Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart. By that time, everyone was adressing him as the "Cristiano's second comming" due to how insane his performance was in the league.
As a Real Madrid fan, I consider Bale as a Madrid legend! Glad he’s back
10:26 that's what I have to say, too. I still remember how he single-handedly changed matches in that 2012-13 season. What a joy it was to watch him do his thing.
Bale was a different animal on his final year on his first spell at Spurs. Scoring goals for fun and changing the goal by himself. Joined Madrid and helped them to win La Decima. Too bad some of the Madrid fans and the Spanish media vilified him and he's decline was brutal to watch.
Bale will always be in my heart for all he did for Madrid , I used to love him as much as I did Ronaldo
One of the best left sided players to grace the PL. an absolute monster
07:49 Who let the sniper in the stadium???
As a Madrista i wish nothing but the best for him, wether with us or not.
Regarding the recent events, both him and Zidane are to be blamed.

Man, those were huge.
I just watched this video and was looking for a comment saying the same thing I said when I saw the man’s ears🤣🤣🤣
3 x Champions Leagues at Real Madrid is hardly a failure, he was right to go there IMHO
He won 4 Though
@@Glory-Compass Damn you're right!
He was top 5 for sure
Can we have a how good was Wayne Rooney?
Top content bro, appreciate all the effort you put into these!
Definitely coming!
Great detail n context in these videos, really impressed. well done
Maicon, like TAA, was a world class attacking full back. But he definitely wasn’t a world class defender.
Keep up the good work mate!
By the way, can you do "How good was Pallister and Bruce pairing"? Would love to see it considering my dad praised them a lot but never told me how good they were
Another class video bro, keep them coming!
Thanks my guy! Will do!
Another great vid, they just keep coming. Love em👍🏻
Thanks man! Will definitely keep it up!
Dude, you channel is truly great. Your videos are extremely detailed and well researched. Don't stop.

Great vid I love when u upload and it gets me very happy
Cheers brother!!
Love your videos. Great content
Quality content 🤝 I'm subbing and looking forward to see the future uploads 👌
Amazing video as always! How do you not have more subscribers!
That last season he was literally unstoppable and seemed to score when he wanted. Just like to say, it’s Tottenham Hotspur. Not Hotspurs.
Amazing work, going to be watching all your videos over the weekend :d
Thanks man, you're a legend!
1:40 ,,and possibly subscribe but no pressure" just shows how this man is humble but deserves a much bigger chanel
I can safely say, that you will be VERY BIG in no time. This content is amazing and in depth.
It's all fun at the end of the day!
I love the vid and everything, I genuinely do. But man Hotspur*S*? It's Tottenham Hotspur or "Spurs".
but seriously, love your stuff, I've been watching all of them!
Haha you're right. Force of habit🤦♂️
Love this channel
Great quality impartial content on your channel brother.
I agree he was most electrifying and focal in 2012/13. However outside of the nostalgia for 1st spurs stint, I think he was a more sophisticated player in late 2015/16 real Madrid/Wales and early 2016/17 for Madrid.
Injuries cut him short on his form but he was honestly the best player in his teams at that point. To accomplish that at real Madrid (see his 2016 champions league final performance vs Atletico) and be the talisman of a Wales run to the Semi-finals of Euro '16 is something that will get lost in the controversy of his poor Spanish PR.
In my Opinion Gareth Bale 2010-2012 was one of the best PL players ever. This men destroyed everything...
💯💯
Great video. I would love to see a follow up on Bale's career post Tottenham!
Keep it up. Nice content
Love the channel mate 👏👏
Cheers, brother!
Great video mate!
Thanks!!!
I am watching in September crazy he really turned it round at spurs this season
I fecking love this channel.
And the channel loves you, friend!
Top channel
Your videos are quality
Love the vid mate. Any chance on a vid on Carrick
😉
Hey man, I absolutely love your content. I'll be sure to leave a like everywhere.
I know you generally cover history, but could you maybe do a video on Mo Salah and how he rose to these heights?
Also, another great one would be Thiago Alcantara and life before Liverpool
Maybe on the historical front, one on Liverpool's UCL team and the miracle of Istanbul?
As you probably guessed, I'm a Sunderland fan. :P
Thank you for the great work, extremely underrated channel.
I dont like videos often, but your intros seem to get me xD
It's unbelievable that he played most of football at Left Back. ..Redknapp pushing him forward was great ..I always say while Bale started in defence , Messi had similar drug to Lance Armstrong to help him grow . Not saying Bale better , but without growth enhancements, and Bale played from childhood in an attacking position ?? ..he brought a new dimension to football he had pace , could dribble , Shoot , score , pass , and head a ball ...Ronaldo could , apart from passing lol..Maradona is worlds best ever in my opinion though..with Wales and last season at Spurs he was given a free role , which he excelled ...When he went to Madrid he was always played on the right , as CR7 preferred to cut in from left , again was new to him and I think Madrid missed the best of him , when on left his creating of goals was phenomenal..and he had such an accurate left foot. ..but he did well at Madrid , but they were never keen on his patriotism , even when came to friendlies, I applaud him 4 that , all players should want to do same , not pick and choose 😊
Gr8 Content & Timing - Hair piece just put a 3 piece on somebody.... As a Chelsea supporter Bale scared the Ish outta me! If Bale stayed at Spurs, Tottenham absolutely wins the Prem in 2016 & prob 2017 too...... People forget back then Real & CR& could not win Real's 10th UCL Trophy - the pressure was getting to the Spanish giants & Bale bailed them out w/ a remarkable Title game performance to win the UCL & give & the rest is history ...... Bale is one of the true greats of the game
These vids are the same quality as someone who has millions of subs fair play man!
u and this seems like an emtremely good channel t u
And do a Gareth Bale Video in Real Madrid please. He was incredible in 2014-2017!
12/13 Bale is my favorite player ever. He scored in CL finals but his last years in London he was a sun.
Hey man, just wanted to take a moment to say that your content is really top class. Keep it up. Also, a request: can we have a video on Ferdinand and Vidic?
Thanks bro! It's almost like you read my mind haha!
Watching the game today i think he's still got it. Its just if spurs can play him. Son kane and bale together sound like an amazing attack but defensively they need someone good to replace vertonghen and jose needs to modernise his tactics a bit more. They play slow for 85 mins then up the pace for 6to 10 mins expecting miracles.
@onefootball sponsor this guy he deserves it!
For seeing something breathtaking that you'd never seen before in a player and game, then to becoming expecting it in him, and it kept happening, in my lifetime - for me - it's been only 2 players. Bale and Maradonna. And yes, "unplayable."
Bale on his day is the best in the world. I first saw him when he battered inter Milan. He’s incredible.
Maicon was great going forward. He was poop defensively. Idk why he even played RWB but whatever. No defender can stop Bale at his best tho.
I would love to see you do a video on Ashley Cole who I consider to be the best left back England ever had but I feel that he's often downplayed by the media and fans due to his move to Chelsea from Arsenal or his personal life.
Definitely agreed. He's my top pick for best ever premier league left back. He's on the list of course✔
Not a single dislike to be seen, thats when you know your good!
Great video bro, nothing new, your usualt thing
Just as I watch this video, he's currently on form atm 😂. Great video btw 👍
Lol I know 😂 I think he must've seen the video or something

you should make one on modric
You have a top-class analyses. You are impressively non-bias. I'm just wondering what your favourite team growing up was it almost seems like you didn't actually have just one.
Hey man! Thanks! I'm a Man United supporter haha. But I support good football/football stories above all else, so I have a soft spot for iconic teams/players etc.
@@FootballIconic thanks for the reply, I aprechiate the non bias opinions, hoping for some more chelsea vids
Please make a "How good was Bastian Schweinsteiger?"
1:56 what mythical creature is that?
I think what he had before Real he still has as he is a quality player.
For sure
He did a shift against West Ham so fair play to him
Ik he is super good and btw my dad somedays is talking about him before real madrid😂 so i agreed with his talking and i already see bale at this moment in tottenham is super good
Can we have a vid on butragueno as I really want to know about him
Did you pack him in fifa 😂

1:58 😆
Here because I’m still waiting for you to talk about the monster created by Madrid
Aka Bale when football wasn’t his favorite sport
My favourite spurs player of all time
The violation of Ole was uncalled for my man 😤😂
Bale was amazing at Spurs. But he has been more successful at Madrid. I mean the Champions League goals alone make him a legend.
His last season at Spurs was the best I've seen from a premier league player. And this is coming from a Chelsea fan...
Suarez 13/14 is Better imo, but I think he had the Best season for a Wimger
@@Glory-Compass hard to compare, I would put them on the same table. 21 goals without one penalty and with so many bangers was absolutly insane.
I'd stop caring too if I was being criticized for shit I can't control after playing a vital role in winning 4 uefa champions League titles. Most successful Brit since Beckham but all people do is joke about the injuries.
Title: How Good Was Gareth Bale at Tottenham Hotspur?
Me: Why don’t you ask Maicon and Inter Milan.
He'll become superb under Ancelotti
Another great vid but I think you should really make a vid on him at Real Madrid because he was actually really good it’s just that the Madrid don’t like him smh 🤦♀️
Agreed! He was a beast in Madrid. His last few seasons were a resl shame. Definitely going to do one on his time in Madrid, though👌👌
Madrid fans ruined Bale. He scored one of the most important goals for Madrid, still they hated him. Says alot about their fans really.
@@vanitazazas scored probs the greatest ucl goal
@@mrmeeseeks2534 atleast top 5 best UCL goals ever. Bale single handed won the 2018 UCL final for Madrid.
@@vanitazazas and scored the goal to put them 2-1 up in the 2014 ucl final
He was the star of Dumbo... As a kid. Hehehe surprised it didn't lower his aerodynamics. Instead he grew his hair to make his ears more streamlined and thus not bugger his aerodynamics too much
At one of the seasons with Spurs, Bale appeared in 24 games, but the team had not won a single match with him! 😅
Unpopular opinion: Gareth Bale had a better career at Real Madrid than Zidane and Brazilian Ronaldo
He got a huge contract money can make you lazy
As a football player u better remain in the club which depends on u rather on being a club u depend on thats the life story of hazard bale etc
G.BALE 💯🔥🔥🔥
I believe if you added a rating at the end of your videos they would increase in views exponentially
Good shout! Was thinking of incorporating something like that as well. It's just that I think that I would be bringing in quite a bit of my own bias into the equation and I want these reviews to be as accurate/neutral as possible while still being entertaining.
Definitely something I'm considering though.
Gareth bale is still class
what a player he was,but he should go to china or MLS,he did enough to prove his worth
What about how good was Carlos Puyol
Was the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dig really necessary?
Haha I'm a United fan! Only a joke
Are you South African bro?
Wales, Golf, Madrid, get in shape and than Tottenham last !!!!
Was his move to Real a mistake? As a Real fan, I'd with confidence say no. Despite the critique he was a beast in Real too. He scored in basically every important match, from the Copa Del Rey Finale against Barcelona to the CL Finale against Liverpool. And he won every major trophy in Madrid. People in my opinion view his career in Real way too negative. The only reason I think it was bad was because it severly weakened Tottenham. With Bale in his prime they might have won every major trophy themselves.
even in real madrid was more than a golfer, but the last years he change from top 5 best in the world to a ex player:(
Just how good was tony Adams?
Real would have fared good even without him. And Erksen would have been a perfect replacement for Modric. I guess he should have stayed, unless his sole goal was to make money then he was right to leave, there's nothing to steal from Levy.
Wales
He won real 2 UCLs
