This is the kind of "I need to have this" But when it fell apart my brain started to fall apart immediately 😁
I bought lot's of the featured puzzles and i still have one wich i never solved. The Hanayama "Trinity" puzzle. I never managed it to get it apart and No i never tried to use a manual so it still keeps its secret.

The moment I saw you pop off that one side piece at the beginning that made the remaining fall out, it made me think you would have those triplets with a 4th locking them in and helping to add to the ball... curious if that would be a good approach 🤔

Is there only one way to assemble them or there several ways to combine them into a sphere?
i thought "just a minute, you should take note of how the 1st 3 went together" as soon as he removed them as a single unit. of course when he took them all apart l knew it would be very difficult to fit them all back together. especially because it was round they wouldn't stay together without them being held together by hand. l would never have attempted it the way he did. but that's why he is MISTER PUZZLE and I'm not. well done, sir.

At around 8:14 there’s a ten second cut just as the final section goes into place. What happened there?🤔
I think there must be a second solution because the end result looks different from the beginning.
You mean a correct solution? Because whatever he did wasn't even a sphere, and the parts didn't fit correctly 😀😀
@Latest Obssesion - say who? It started out as an outline of a SPHERE. It wasn't uniformly round at the end.

As you were taking this puzzle apart I noticed that it looked to much like a “Luban Lock Puzzle“. If you have done one then you can do most or all of the others.

difficult puzzle, lost, never solved it.
dosnt even look like a gobstopper....not the right shape, not the right colors........ boooooooooo
