Hello there, long time no see. I do wish I could show to you why I haven't uploaded a video in over 3 months but it is unfortunately not ready. It is a video that is reaching over 3 hours long at this rate and it is by far my biggest project yet. But it is not ready yet, me and LastPrismAlex are still working on it and it will easily be considered our magnum opus.
Until then, here we have a video project I started a year ago which I expected to become filler content but ended up being nearly an hour long. As I am known for having some infamous levels, I figured I would do my best to make sure they were more easily accessible to the community. Not trivialize them however, players just need to get good at the game to beat these levels now as majority of timings aren't unfair anymore. I do hope until I can release a new level (which should hopefully be soon) that these update will suffice as something worth going for. - Hry

Yes! That's especially cool because "update" isn't something very common in the GD community.
For some strange reason, the game continuously fails to update The Hell Inferno, Achondrite and Hate War. As of now, I am trying to get this resolved with moderators as this shouldn't happen but until then, they are not available publicly. My apologies.
Update: They have been updated now :)

@@BrodieMitch I requested all of the levels I was going to update to be unlocked to SirHadoken but something isn't as it should be with those three it seems.

Did you update them all at once, because maybe there is an update limit to prevent hackers from updating an account's levels all in one go. Maybe a hacker prevention thingy?

I honestly don’t understand the hate in the comments, I beat the hell zone on mobile 6 months ago as my hardest demon (it’s now my 2nd hardest) from what I’ve played from these updates I wouldn’t say the difficulty is nerfed significantly, if anything these are more level fixing updates rather than nerfing, people are crying because like 5 choke points got nerfed in a level but what should matter at the end of the day is the quality of the level not the difficulty, you beating the level before the update if anything makes you seem better because you beat a worse version. Anyways, good job Storm! Nice to see you improve these after so long!

I beat the entire hell series and I honestly feel that the update was much welcome, I do not want people to further stigmatize the hell series due to some bad decisions.

Honestly, I wish more creators and verifiers did this. Changes like these dont undermine already achieved completions and it makes for a better playing experience for future players. I hope more players pick up these levels as beginner extremes, they really have a unique history and aren't all that bad at all now.

the Hell Series was genuinely always one of my favorite level series' in GD, and it makes me happy to know that you fixed alot of problems with them to make it friendlier to play. definitely gonna beat these sometime in the future :)
It was super cool to see your thought process behind all of these changes! I actually quite liked the slightly blue tint at the end of Scardian cause I thought it was a nice contrast to the red but I totally respect the decision to make it grayscale too. It's such a shame that the animations made my game lag when I originally beat the level (and now I'm nowhere near consistent enough at the game to go back for it again haha)

Oh thank God you fixed Hate War! I remember trying to beat it before the buffdate on mobile and then having to deal with that after gettin to 76% on the old one. Had to spend 1.5 years and 60k attempts to beat the buffed version. At least now it's actually enjoyable to play for new victors!
Amazing videobas always. Im happy that you went and updated these levels. To me its a bit sad that I did not complete field and inferno before the update but at the end of the day, beating these levels are a huge accomplishment amyway so im not mad about it.

Thank you so much for fixing this level, it is definetly much more enjoyable to pull off, my only issue is that the cube transition at 55% it's still bugged, on high refresh rates it's auto, while on low you have to do the whole blind transition, other than that, amazing update good job storm🔥

As for me, I only beat Achondrite among all your rated levels and I still find the old version really fun.

I hope more creators learn to do this for their old levels, way too many people make levels just to be on the list and that still holds up to this day.

I think that a series about gameplay updates to the worst levels that you’ve beaten would be cool. I’ve already done this for flat major, diffuse, and likely some others. (But not overnight. That garbage is beyond saving.)

very faschinating video, even though it took me this long to see. while "the hell" series isn't too fun to play, it's one of the most important remake serie of all time.
In the era where nerfs and even needed fixes are looked down upon, doing this takes either a lot of courage or a lot less shits to be given. You are doing god's work with this one.

I just finished the rated hell series on 60hz mobile a month ago just for them all to get nerfed, nice. I honestly don't know how much this is going to affect the difficulties on 60hz, but it does suck for me since ive spent the majority of my mobile career on the series just for it to become easier directly after completing it. Maybe it's not as bad as I think, but you still shouldn't have done this

Hi as a first 60hz pc victor on The Hell Inferno, i just completely understand that u mean, playing The Hell Series is a bad idea for them because they hate the timings levels like this, The Hell World just made me frustrated as hell especially at 68% that ship is painful

Honestly levels made solely to be hard end up aging a lot worse than their well-balanced counterparts, because sure short-term they might be higher on the demon list, but long-term they just end up being remembered as levels with really annoying parts which makes them unappealing to go for
Like it's why I like Yatagarasu so much as a former Top 1, sure the nerfs applied to it made it Top 1 but present day I'd say it's surprisingly well balanced for a former top 1 (whereas its old unnerfed version had some ridiculous chokepoints that would've made me despise playing it if they were still in the official version)
With ICDX being an insane demon and hate war nerfed to the ground I've lost all my extreme demons

55:50 I really do hope you update the hell trinity, the gameplay in it is some of the most frustrating in the hell series, featuring the most luck-based ending of all time. If there is a level that's most deserving of a proper update, it's trinity.
Probably the one thing I don't like about Trinity is the ending, it's way too hard as a result of me fluking it. I'm not sure if I should try and change it again and I unfortunately do not have more time to work on level updates. Trinity has been updated with the camera already so it's a little better but unfortunately, you're gonna have to cope with that ending for now.
@@StormflyI see, well I mean I already beat it, so it's not gonna change for me. I do also think the ship part at around 25% is unreasonably hard compared to the rest of the level, as well as the ball timings that immediately follow it. With those parts nerfed, trinity will be as good as inferno.
