How do you make a mix like this on youtube without getting a copyright penalty?
When you use most songs on YT, they don't strike your video they just take the revenue from it. So you can use copyrighted material, but there's an exception of some labels that will strike and remove the video.

Sick mix! Can you use the device as a standalone mixer?
Yes, but only the 3 band EQ, trim, and faders, you need a laptop plugged in to use the effects

@@giannio3128 have you watched through Cross-fader's full review video, if not, look at the end when they test it with turntables, for some reason DVS doesn't work properly with his controller

DJ noitaleveR you don’t need to make videos to educate people on selecting good tracks. Also, depends on your taste. What I find lame and boring could give goosebumps to someone else. So yes, as far as this mix is concerned, I found most of the tracks very boring 😄
Nikunj Barot ok, I agree, music selection is subjective. So the second part of your comment was not necessary. I have found this channel caters to all music genres. It’s all subjective. I get motivated and challenged with any DJ that has the stones to put themselves out there to show off their progress up to that point. Not everyone is going to like it, which means (btw I usually hate the PC mentality of this world) these videos truly deserve constructive criticism if any criticism is going to be given.
