This video was hilarious. I enjoyed your bit on spitting in a cup. lol. Oddly, in miniature figurine painting, we all lick our brushes after we rinse them. So no paint, just rinse water on them. It helps shape the tip for such small detailed work. And I have had managers at large game companies joke about bottling our saliva as a painting medium (ewwwwww).

No lemi! Dont use lemon to varnish. Its acidic that it will remove the paint like paint thinner. You need to use school glue to varnish. Its ok everyone mixes that up that pro tip!
Should make this even clearer that it was all a sarcastic joke.... I’m scared a few less intelligent beginners may take it seriously... that saliva part was grossly hilarious. Maybe change the tittle in case someone doesn’t watch to the end. Was funny. Thanks.

Assuming you have a lot of kids as fans, is it a bit irresponsible to suggest things like this?
Lots of kids wouldn't watch all the way to the end, & would be running around doing bizarre, counterintuitive things with & to their artwork.
In addition to ruining their artwork, wasting their time & efforts, & costing their parents money replacing ruined/wasted supplies; many would likely get made fun of & laughed at in the process.
Seriously, you're always telling people to think about your actions & how they effect people.
But it's okay somehow, to mislead your young, very impressionable fans?
ESPECIALLY IF they don't watch all the way to the end of the video.
I'm ALL for levity & am completely willing to do strange things for comedic value,
I just think, you should be a little careful about which things you joke about & about WHO you're performing the jokes FOR.
It's important to consider who your audience is.
Doing a joke like this at some sort of art related event, peppered with seasoned professionals, or to a bunch of art instructors, etc.,
is one thing,
They'd obviously know it was a joke immediately.
But as you've said yourself, tons of your fans are children/teenagers, etc.
Hell, even an adult might think it was real, if said adult was a beginner & was seeking advice from a place/person. they thought they could trust.
This is all based on things YOU have said, in regards to other artists, to think about how you effect other people; to remember you're being watched & in some cases even looked up to, by very young, trusting
people.
So, it seems like you should be mindful that some things that are "harmless" jokes to one demographic, might be quite "harm-FULL" to another audience demo.
I'm pretty much the opposite of a Gatekeeper, or SJW, or The Internet PO-leece in every way, so I'm honestly not being Mrs. Hall Monitor here.
I'm just honestly thinking of, how I'd want my kids to be treated when turning to someone they strongly admired on CZcams or in general.
Or how I'd want to be treated myself, at that age, when I was JUST starting out as an artist, & searching for guidance or advice from someone older & more experienced.
In my case, I've always been someone who's confident & not really easily impressionable, even as a kid, but lots of kids & other beginners are.
Plus, that was way before internet, in my case.
But now, these kids have much more access to the people they model themselves after, & direct line of communication with their role models & those who have a lot of influence in not just the art world, but within any given community.
I know people will often say "I never declared myself a role model," or "I never asked to be anyone's leader or mentor," & that's very valid.
Many of us *don't* ask to be or proclaim to be, but we end up becoming one nonetheless.
And with that, wether we like it or not, some amount of responsibility does come hand in hand.
Just sayin'.
