This is just terrific. Alyssa's presence is so dark and beautiful, and her powerful voice goes perfect with this song. This is hands down, my favourite song, from now on.

Ok, first i wanna say, i love this version, and of course, i love Alissa's voice.
Now i think we have somewhat of a missed opportunity here. Attila's voice is so different and tenor like, it would have contrasted so well with the voice of Alissa...they should have done a duet instead of replacing Attila completely.
Imagine the chorus sang by Attila and Alissa at the same time, or the back and forth they could have done.... it would have been amazing

Alissa´s own acoustic version is really marvellous, with the "original" in mind - just light-hearted. The imperial age version is - with due respect for their effort - but unbearable to me.

@@Mateking92 I still like Alissa these days but her work with the Agonist are some of the best and most diverse vocals I've heard, especially in Lullabies. I could never get into their music post-Alissa.

Her insane highs, her lowest fry registers, her mid were more mixed, with more "notes" and melody in it, than it is now, now it's more "fry" with less voice in it, but I've heard she drastically changed her scream technique after lullabies because it was becoming dangerous for her voice, that's why it's already so different and closer to how it is now in prisoners, the album righr after lullabies'.

@@CatDoublechins Have you heard of Jinjer or Vintersea? Lot of female death/black metal vocalists sound extremely different from Alissa. The girl from Jinjer (Tatiana) could be easily mistaken for a man growling for instance.
