Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle vs semi truck and trailer collision requiring extensive extrication at 24th Drive and Grand Avenue around 9:00 pm Saturday night.

Upon arrival crews found a Toyota Rav 4 pinned underneath a semi trailer with one occupant trapped.
●
After a 30+ minute extrication crews were able to free the vehicle from under the trailer and reach the trapped victim.
●
Fire crews pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
