2 Adults Dead 2 Children Rescued From Serious Crash | PHOENIX

AZ DPS troopers responded to reports of a single vehicle accident with extensive injuries near 59th Avenue and Eastbound I-10 around 12:20 AM Sunday morning.

Upon arrival troopers found an older model Mustang with 4 occupants and a dog ( 2 adults and 2 children) that had collided with a barrier wall.
●
Fire crews arrived on scene and pronounced the 2 adult occupants deceased, the 2 children were quickly transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition.
●
Preliminary information gathered by DPS suggests that the vehicle was racing another vehicle at the time of the crash.
●
Eastbound i-10 is expected to remain closed from 67th Avenue to 59th Avenue for at least 5 hours as troopers investigate the incident.
