- Drag racing shock and suspension technology has changed drastically over the last five years, so we have invited world renowned suspension and tuning expert, Chris Bell of Kinetic Engineering to join us for a 4 part series on the subject.
Episode 1 of the Shock Series sheds light on several common types of shocks, how they are adjusted, proper mounting and a wealth of other valuable information.

My uncle has a 1965 GTO with a Pontiac motor making 800 hp with a five speed transmission liberty. The car wheel hops real bad from the starting line to me. It looks like it’s separating entirely too fast. He has Afco shocks both directions was 11 from stiff and steel wheel hops. 14:00

I have Lakewood Drag Shocks on the rear of my 1985 Foxbody T-Top car But- It's "Squatting" now... , How can I raise the rear back up 1-1/2 inches to level it with the front?
Tim serious question or anyone what would be the cheapest easiest power adder? I'm just turning 16 and I love drag racing and other types of racing I want to get into track racing instead of street shhhhh don't tell my dad haha I've been running just straight motor for a while now and I want a little more zip I did the basic heads, intake, cam etc. I'm pretty handy with doing some metal fabrication
Tanner Rouillard I'd run nitrous it's the easiest and cheapest. just always run fat and if it says X amount of timing retarded always pull 2 mor degree it will be happy. stock motor can handle a 150 shot no problem

Bang for the buck, Nitrous is tough to beat. 150 hp with a lil button is nice.
Tanner... I'm a little late on this post but if you go with nitrous, follow the previous advice about timing but first and foremost make sure your fuel pump can maintain adequate pressure at wide open throttle for both the engine and nitrous system.
@@ruthlessronniethemechanic5639 too little timing and too much fuel is just as bad as too much timing and too little fuel. If your just playing with baby shots of nitrous it won’t matter. If your doing big boy shit..… you can burn it down trying to be “really safe” as well
