A nice challenge to get the board above water, gives your hobby an extra challenge.

OK, first up...I love your show. One suggestion, a hand held fish net. Essentially a sportsmen's style on a small pole, fish net. Your always losing stuff when you succeed in pulling it to the surface, but once you pull from the water...the weight is too much and you lose your treasure. With the net, you bring it to the surface and then scoop it up in the net. Easy. :)

Great job to both of you. My friend we need to put you on sedatives for all your excitement. You almost killed me when the plate hit the steel rail. The plate is in fantastic condition. The gripper has layers of carbon fiber so it will take a lot of abuse. I set the curving so you can grab 50mm shells or wine bottles. You may be able to grab 88mm shells but I don't think the fish has the thrust. This find was great, please keep up all the great work you and EE are doing. Stay well, stay safe and no freezing on the water front. Thank you, guys.

Be safe and greetings from us.

@@WW2HistoryHunter Thank you my friend for the chance to put into this great work and for the company promotion. I will be doing you a second one to handle depth. Since you understand water pressure, the one is honeycombed. The next one will be solid; another company builds grippers for their equipment and has zero issues at 20m with solid.

A great new attachment to the ROV, and with a little practice, you and EE nailed it, well done my friend, an almost perfect artefact seeing the light of day after some 75+ years. I look forward to seeing what else you have in store for us. A thought, maybe a weighted string bag or mesh bag on another line, with a ring to keep the neck open would help in the recovery of larger tricky items, and cut down the chances of you loosing them, or them getting damaged. I know scuba divers use such things, just a thought my friend. Stay safe and well both of you

I'm so pleased you recovered the plate 🙏
And the fact that it didn't break when you dropped it off the wharf 🙄
    It cleaned really well 👍

@@WW2HistoryHunter I imagine those plates are quite thick and strong.
I was surprised that it didn't hit the side of the wharf, as it fell back into the water.
Must be a well constructed plate.

Hi. So nice to see you managed to bring that plate to the surface again after all those years on the seabed. That was a real struggle, but the heavily modified grabber did the trick in the end.

Yes the gripper William created works so great. Will be back to look for more. Thanks my friend :)

What you should do is lower a basket with a large opening and deposit the items into it
Less chance of damaging the artifacts this way
