- 1943 German WW2 Torn E.b. TRF receiver that i have been playing around with. Has four tubes and is of a very early design. Think the first version were produced in 1935 and they stayed in production through the war.

That radio is very nice typical heavy weight military construction. I really enjoyed seeing the turret tuning arrangement in operation. I nice hearing new boy having his morse practice. I think being wide band is really the whole problem with TRF sets although careful use of the reaction control helps a little. Thanks for sharing really interesting. I have a few boat anchors myself b

How did u record the audio output ?
