Concrete wall/ceiling. The parallel lines were created by the wood frame held the concrete when it was posted. When it’s removed what left is the parallel lines. The square dark area is a doorway into another room. The shinny reflections on the edges of the doorway, no idea. Unless it’s metal.

In too good a condtion to be fully abandoned probably in a minimal maintence stance more than likely why the air unit still running to prevent moisture.

Dude there's no way that's sitting there open, no debris or leaves dirt anything, and you've never been there.

If you look on the left side of the component you can still see the original camouflage paint. From 87/91 I worked at British Aerospace in Chadderton, NW Manchester where the Lancaster fuselage, wings and rear gun turret were manufactured prior to final assembly at British Aerospace Woodford, SE Manchester. The factory at Chadderton was the old A.V.Roe factory where Roy Chadwick, the Lancasters designer worked in the design office.

Who is paying for that power to still be on? Also could you show us around the outside? Obviously there used to be other ways in, i'd like to see those from the outside if possible. Thanks.

The Germans most certainly meant business with all these gun positions and bunkers. This was a great explore and its nice to see the three of you together on an adventure. Brilliant to see BBG with HH and EE on this impressive location. I used to visit the Channel Islands part of the Atlantis Wall.full of coastal batteries and bunkers.On Jersey as with your site there are sxtensive dune systems and sometimes these defences are partially obscured by sand.👍👍👍A thumbs up to the threeof you!

EE is as tall as BBG now! I don't know what you are feeding him, but you may want to introduce him to basketball. Neat strongpoint they built there. It wouldn't be a fun time attacking that place. Looking at that water makes my fishing instincts kick in automatically. Beautiful area if you aren't fighting a war there.

Great to see Bunker Buster Girl back with the team. She looked so small beside Eagle Eyes. He’s growing fast. Other than the graffiti, these structures are in great shape. I’ve noticed that you haven’t come across any of the concrete cooling tubs for the barrels. Did they have metal ones as well? I wondered also is they didn’t have a range finder on top of the bunker with the flack guns. It was unusual to hear you say the bunker and to machine gun positions had sand up higher on them and now it has gone back down again. I would have thought they would continue to be covered or eventually be pulled out into the ocean. Great location. I sometimes think that you couldn’t show us anything new or interesting and then you prove me wrong.

Hi HH, EE & BBG. Nice that CORALIENYA is with us, but I miss her vlogs. I have seen that during the war the MG position was covered with a round wooden plate. 11:34 could be a graffiti by artist Banksy.

The Germans certainly put a lot of effort into protecting that airfield. It's quite a compact area with a lot of MG bunkers and Flak positions. Would not want to be flying into that. It's always fascinating to see the hidden parts of bunkers, that the wind and waves have exposed. Gives you a new perspective on the construction of these relics of history. Shame the modern grafitti vandals have had their way on the walls. Thank you all for sharing this fascinating location with us. Stay Safe all of you!
