The AEG equipment ought to be in a museum and not rotting away in this bunker. I think the footsteps in the concrete were for posterity - and they are! Thanks to you and to Eagle Eyes for another interesting video.

All three parts of this location are so interesting. I truly appreciate you and EE exploring these areas. It's truly a shame and a loss that they can't be cleaned up and maintained for camping and just the historical significance. They should be restored to their original condition. Thank you again.

All I can say is wow! That place was amazing! I never would have guessed all that would've been there. The Germans continue to surprise and perplex me. Why were the stakes in the ceiling? The tunnel system was definitely not something I thought was there from the looks of the outside. Simply astounding. Thank you both for your hard work and for taking us along. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯

What a great location. And it just kept giving. The Firing Control Bunker was cool, but those stairs! they went much deeper than first thought. Imagine the work involved in cutting out that massive stairwell, let alone the huge rooms, and tunnels, under the hillside. Just mind numbing. So nice to see the AEG junction boxes in place. You can easily see by the number of cables running in and out, how important that complex was to the whole site. And then to find another tunnel complex and, a original fuel drum. Magic! Hopefully they won't leave that drum there just to rust away. They're not that scarce, but, each one is still a part of history, that needs to be preserved. Thank you both for this fascinating series, on what is definitely an incredible location. Cannot wait to see the next adventure! Cheers to you all! Stay Safe!

What an interesting complex and the depth of the facility was impressive. The cable connection labels was a first for me. What did they keep in the huge hall, lots of ammunition, maybe fuel drums? That oil heater was also a new item for me. EE seemed to really enjoy this complex and all the interior and exterior features. Lots of stairs, large rooms and tunnels, they must have worked on this site for quite some time. Great explore guys!! Thanks for taking us along!

It boggles my mind to know how quickly the Germans built positions like this all over the place. Yeah, they used forced labor for a lot of it, but even so the shear number of these fortifications being built so quickly is stunning. Then, there's the supply side of it all - tons and tons of concrete production, steel production etc.
This is a really cool site. I'm glad you an EE took us along.

Thank You History Hunter and Eagle Eyes, for taking us through this bunker. Being that I am 1/4 German my self, some times I have mixed feeling about some of these ruins. I feel that Adolph Hitler caused a lot more trouble for the German people when he seized power in 1933 and tried to conquer all of Europe than they would have suffered by following through with the restriction they were subjected to by the Treaty of Versai(?)🌍

@@WW2HistoryHunter The next time you find a well-preserved junction block see if you can find numbers. AEG is gone for all intents and purposes, so their archives are scattered. Siemens is still going strong so if it is theirs, you find a better chance of documents.

Absolutely amazing place! That was a wonderfully extensive bunker system, and I'm incredibly intrigued as to the purpose of the various parts and rooms you found. Certainly that large room, with so many cables and fixtures and connectors going to it, must have been some sort of planning centre. It also tells me it must have been for much more than local operations, perhaps for planning longer-range raids and the like.

The Regelbau 607 ammo storage bunker was quite large. Both the the Regelbau 621 and 607 were in great shape. I wouldn't'' be surprised if in the event of a war today, they could still be utilized. The fire control bunker was placed ideally on top of the mountainside. What a sight it would be if the MG 24 was still positioned on the turret and the range finder equipment. Thank for also taking us inside the fire and control bunker. There were many steps. So much work involved getting those intricate bunkers constructed. Yes, a shame the graffiti idiots did their dirty work. A rare find seeing the original German electronics and cables. Surprised no one took them. Very impressive. Right you are HH, I bet three tanks could have been stored in there. There are so many original pieces there from the WW2 era. The 200 L fuel drum would be a really neat collectable. Vey interesting place. Thanks HH and EE. 💕
