Here's a fun fact about vampires. They are obsessed with counting, and will usually count things before moving on, so people would spread sesame seeds on their door step so that a vampire would be stuck counting before they had to leave to hide from sunlight.
If that’s true, that’s a clever reason behind “The Count” from Sesame Street beyond his title

I was holding the Guinea pig and was checking its eyes and ears and stuff while the others were sitting around me in a circle watching and as I held that tiny, fragile creature I felt an overbearing urge to put its head in my mouth. 10:26 what Oz is referring to is Descartes' evil genius. It is a memetic hazard in the form of a question: What if all things that you experience are an illusion crafted by an malevolent being that is objectively more intelligent than you? The psychological horror that arises from this is that you would have no way of guaranteeing that proposal is true nor false, thus making it always probable that you are being lied to. This caused concern for people in Descartes' time and his response was not to take it so seriously as regardless of the true outcome, you are still experiencing the reality that you are experiencing.
The intrusive thought of "I could cause harm if I wanted to" is something I've had but with knives. "I could hurt someone with this" immediately followed by "no that's not what I should do"
You're not crazy about the dogs. I've owned labradors my whole life and I'll play wrestle them and I love giving them loving noogies, but if I'm near a small dog, I'm so scared of stepping on them or hurting their tiny ribs while holding them, I just avoid them altogether.
Yeah, when you give a tiny dog a belly rub and feel their ribs moving under like... 4 pounds of pressure, you quickly decide to never pet a tiny dog in fear of hurting it.
@@StapleCactus I loved giving tummy rubs to my girl, but I was always worried about accidentally catching one of her nipples, so the tummy rubs would always be very carefully controlled.
@@caitlinrix294 Oh yeah, belly rubs on a dog after one or two litters, those things are almost begging to be caught by your nail.
12:44 I absolutely understand this. The same thing happens with other animals too. Meanwhile I can fit the cats entire head in my hand.
Pit bull, more like pit bulldozer
You do not have a 200 lb pit bull, you weirdo. 😂 I had an extremely inbred pit bull that was 85 lbs, and he was massive and had tons of health issues. Pit bulls usually don't exceed 35-55 lbs.
That school one, with the teacher saying “you learned this last year.” Reminded me of the time the teacher gave us a list of chapters and their grammar problems to prepare for the upcoming exam. It was a total of 10 chapters and each had 2 grammar problems. This was for a foreign language class and she worded the review page so oddly, that my dumb butt thought I had to do each problem. So I did. 100pages later, each full of corrected or completes sentences, table of contents, and reference page at the end, and the teacher looked at me mortified. I pointed out her grammar mistake and she had me pass the exam without having to take it...then she simply gave me enough bonus points to pass any future exam from that point on, for the rest of the year...I dumbassed the system so hard, I didn’t have to worry about exams in her class, ever. TLDR: being a dumbass has its perks.

0:59 Oz, I still have one. It sits in the corner connected to an original XBox. It's staying there when the house gets sold, because it's legitimately sagging the floor. It came with a stand specifically designed to hold it's weight. I got it for free and it took FOUR PEOPLE to get it in the house.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great TV, but yes, flatscreen Sony Trinitron Wega from 1999, I AM fat shaming you.
6:31 - Way back in the day, people would scatter rice on their doorstep to keep vampires away. The idea was that the vampire's OCD compelled them to count the number of grains of rice before they could proceed, and by the time they finished, the sun would come up and kill them. I believe that Sesame's Street's Count von Count was inspired in part by this trait (though it's certainly not the only vampire related thing that inspired his creation and personality).

Similar to the pant leg spidee, when I was in high school I soft-adopted a goth fashion sense, which included a baggy pair of pants where the back frayed because my heel kelt stepping on it. Well, I was in welding class one day using the arc welder, when I randomly started feeling warm air rising up my leg. 8:28 Had something similar in grade school on the bus. They said I had a bug on my face and I didn’t want to fall for that gag. All the while I feel what feels like the phantom sensation of something on my face. As I had whisker-like hairs growing constantly (still do) I ignored it thinking it was those hairs getting agitated by the breeze. Our bus driver looks in the mirror at me and with a blank expression confirms it. I see it creep onto my cheek, a shield shaped stink bug, and flicked it onto the girl who had been doing the “what’s that” flick routine to me earlier.
Edit: Yes, by whisker-like hair, I literally mean hairs on my upper cheeks like a cat’s. Longest they have gotten is about three inches before I had noticed.
