The Tello has been out for over a year and is still going strong. DJI and Ryze have teamed up with Marvel to bring us the Tello Ironman Edition which looks amazing with a red frame and details that pop when you fly it. We take a close look at its styling, footage and flight characteristics. We also test its cross compatibility with the original Tello in terms of the app you use to fly it and the batteries.
If this cross branded Ironman drone is any indication of things to come, we can expect to see more branded and cross promoted drones in the future.

just bought my first drone. its the iron man. only bought the iron man because it was $20 cheaper on dell than the standard tello. thanks to your vids after i learn to fly this little guy im going for the mavic air.i just want to point out i used my usb cable from my xbox controller ( i use the razer wolverine controller). that the battery charges in about 20 mins from dead. about 1/ 3rd of the time from the provided usb cable. hope this helps anybody reading this. thanks again love your channel.

I have a Samsung S10 with Version 9 and it won't connect.

You can trick the Tello Ironman App to work with the "old" Tello by quickly switching back and into the app and after a few tries it should show the camera feed, then everything works normal.

The only things that would actually improve the Tello are internal SD memory to allow the very capable camera to be used to it's fullest specs, brushless motors and extended wifi range. Otherwise I'm NOT wasting money on another one.

Considering purchasing the Tello Ironman drone. Have the parrot rolling spider that is difficult to fly and control indoors, let alone outdoors. And only has camera on the bottom of drone. Is this purchase worth it?
Tello is a good little drone and pretty easy to control. Depends on what you want to do with it. If you just want to fly around a bit and get some OK (but not stabilized) footage, Tello is great. If you want smooth video footage and better flight range, go to a Mavic Mini.

jUST WONDERING Have you ever used a WIFI extender ? and if so do you have a video on how to set one up , and I have the Tello , what a great little piece of machinery !
Can you bypass the intrduction. On the hero app andget flyig? It suckstime out of battery.

The UI is different but from what I can tell, all functions, including intelligent flight modes are the same.
