My teeth are watering!! I haven’t had Haggis for years, a Robbie Burns dinner years ago👌 love my neeps mashed. Love your dinners and recipe laddy. Thank you. 👌🏴🇨🇦🙋♀️
This is exactly the way I've always cooked haggis - the secret of haggis keeps and tatties is to get a quality haggis - keep the recipes coming - cheers!
I would not eat this. Just me! But thanks for sharing. I've known about Haggis for decades and I've learned about your culture. That, I'm always open to!
Well, I had to Google haggis because I have never seen it in stores but heard of it in British culture. It's not legal in the U.S. though I'm sure I would try it, I love liver, and blood sausage, though ones I've had are horrible. I was born in Argentina, big meat producers, delicious blood sausage. Americans are not big fans of organ meats, lol.
@@otmargreb6110 Mush?….that’s a shame….as a nurse I know a lot of people with poor dentition or swallowing reflex difficulties need to eat soft food…..but if you try it you might find that haggis is indeed fairly soft and in my opinion completely suitable for a soft diet…have you spoken to a dietician?..
@@brendamuirhead483 nah, your wrong. I'm restricted from eating Haggis. I said I was interested in culture. Dietician? Understand, I'm an Emergency Medical Technician. But with that stated, I don't eat vital organs of animal. Good day, and be nice to folks.
@@brendamuirhead483 no, I'm no ambulance guy, lol. I am an Emergency Room tech, you know... That place where everyone catches a hard time, whether worker or patient! It can be maddening and rewarding, mixed emotions! Cheers, have a lovely life!
Thanks for the recipe. Does anyone know a good brand for Haggis I can get in England? I’ve tried cooking it before but it never tastes anything like the Haggis I’ve had Scotland! 😢
I love your recipes but I draw the line at consuming weird organs inside a sheep's stomach. The neeps and tatties look lovely though. I like turnip mashed with butter and a touch of brown sugar.
Tara, I'm wit ya! It's strictly not my food, just for thought! It is quite interesting what other countries and their citizen consume. I've known about Haggis for decades. I won't even consume liver. But still, it's interesting!
Can't wait to try it,takes me back to my childhood. Love your recipes especially the Scottish ones.bye for now from canada

Never tried making Haggis that way. Will need to try it. Thank you for sharing x
A different way to cook the haģgis but a good idea looks nice.
My personal favourite. A bit annoyed that we can only get haggis at Christmas here. Will tuck this recipe away until next Burn's Night.
I'll try it. Never had it.
Haggis... well more power to yas.

My mum used to slice the haggis in to about 4 and fry it….lovely…goes all crusty on the outside…..
I'd prefer mush to this. Just don't like the idea. But thanks for sharing!

The best haggis I can find in England is from asda. If they have it in stock. But the beat I have had on a regular basis is mcsweens.

I purposely never listed the ingredients, for all the weird stuff it actually tastes sensational. But you need to buy the correct haggis

Although the food of my ancestors, I find haggis disgusting!
