One of the rarest ferrari Dinos - 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS factory Chairs and flares

- The Ferrari Dino is the last of the Enzo Era cars, meaning Ferraris that
Enzo himself had a say in the design of, before Fiat took control of the
road car production. It was a massive success with thousands of units
built, ranging from the 206 GT, to the 246 series which included both a
coupe and targa top variation. Of the 246 Dinos, the chairs and flares
version is by far the most desirable. While many people have altered
their cars to add on the flares, there are only a handful of factory
originals, making them rare and extremely collectible. only 91 factory
original chairs and flares Dinos made it to the US, and this car happens
to be one of those original cars. It has been extensively restored in
recent years and is in great condition cosmetically as well as
mechanically.

If I ever hit the lottery, I want that car in that color in my garage. I'm a car nut and this is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.
Service costs on the Dino prove its a real Ferrari
That color combo is amazing. Beautiful car.
Wow, Colleen you make that car look good!
Love those Campy wheels.
Amazing that you've gotten 2 factory chairs and flares cars in such a short timespan.
We have a bunch of fun, rare cars coming in soon. Gotta say i am partial to the blue dinos though.
Beautiful car. I remember when people overlooked these .
endless timeless so beautifull love it love it
Really beautiful. Very classy look. Perfect shaped.
And the Dino is a looker, too.
;) haha
See I’m not the only one lol 😂
Stunning and beautiful. The car isn’t so bad either.
Well I must say you are very knowledgeable regarding your content, great job, very professional .
GREAT VIDEO - thanks for the amazing information. My pop has a Dino (not chairs and flares) and we absolutely love it. To see this one is a real treat. Thx again!
You're so fortunate. The exhaust sound a Dino makes is one of my all time favorites. Handles like a dream too.
I think the Dino 246 ranks right up there with the E-Type Jaguar for beautiful styling.
Thanks coleen much appreciated and respected 👌
Great job on showing us a legend! If I could have ANY "mass" produced for the road Ferrari, the 246 would be it. Small and light and just one of the prettiest designs ever! I'll never be able to afford one so I drive a 2nd gen MR2.
MR2s are great! I always thought they had cooler styling than the Supras.
@@Melchiorblade7 I love that little car. Like my Orvis Rocky Mountain 4 wt...they will have to be pried from my cold dead fingers!
I've always thought that the Dino looks better in other colours than red for some reason. This shade of blue is stunning. You are very fortunate to have the job you have. Thank you for sharing the wonderful cars with us!!
Amazing. Why did I move away from Newport Beach to East Coast? I used to have lunch at “A Market Deli”.....I love when you drive Cliff Dr and PCH and Newport Coast!!!
Hmm 🤔 maybe ill have to stop and have lunch next time
Great video with new bits and pieces that even long time Ferrari followers might not know. The mini-shade in lieu of the visor is something I haven't seen prior.
Hello!
In watching more of your videos about Ferrari's, I have become very impressed and admire both your presentation and technical knowledge of what I consider to be the most Beautiful, Powerful and Pleasing vehicles ever built!
Please keep up the Good Work that you have been doing and wishing you the Best in your future-So VERY well done!
Rob
this one - including options and colour scheme - would be the absolute dream car. In coupe version.
I just had to subscribe.
The videos are of perfect length. They are beautifully produced. You present great information with charm and personality.
Great job!
Thank you!
Stunning car. I love your passion and knowledge. Subscribed
These videos just keep getting better and better - great job, congratulations! Oh and the car is pretty awesome too!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Interesting about Dino (automobile): czcams.com/video/WLmKuw5tzTg/video.html
Beautiful color on the Dino. Great video.
Love your channel.
A beauty driving a beauty is just... beautiful 🥰
Thank you for this knowledge!
Your videos are great. Absolutely stunning. I love them. In particular I like the videos about the Dino- family, where you covered the Fiat Dino 2400 spider apart from some Dino 206 / 246 (as far as I have seen them). The elegant lines of a Dino 246, the nice ride of a Fiat Dino spider 2400, just great. There is only one thing, the serious sports car in the family of cars with the dino engine was a (by Ferrari) unwanted step- brother, the Lancia Stratos. A Dino 246 GT is the elegant tourer, a Lancia Stratos is insane, but perfect for a nice ride across the Col de Turini on a winter night. Tell me, if you have already covered one, or when you are about to do so... . Looking forward.
Just by the way, next Thursday, 20th January 2022, at 21:30 h (CET) they are driving up to the Col de Turini again (they: WRC). But these days, they use Toyota GR Yaris and things, little city cars with 4 WD and a heavily tuned engine, but the cars are no more nice... :-(.
Nice color car !
As far as I know the Dino GT 206 was only a concept car, that lead to the production 246's that we love. There were a few different 206 race cars but they were very different in appearance and even less frequently seen.
Love it🤗
Buongiorno sembra un auto attuale e tu sei un valore aggiunto brava e bella, ma quanta nostalgia .
Awesome! 😆
Such a sexy car!
Love your outfits!
The engine was designed in 1958 by Dino Ferrari, and Aurelio Lampredi. It was shelved after Dino's death. But Enzo resurrected the engine for the race series, and to commemorate his son.
You forgot "looks good at every angle!" LOL
Dino Ferrari died in 1956, but Enzo's son was the one who conceived them under the supervision of Vittorio Jano. Aurelio Lampredi contributed to the design in 1965 when it became clear that the engines were close to production at Fiat Mirafiori plant.
How did you get those shot angles?
Everything is correct, dear Colleen. These engines were built by Fiat at Mirafiori plant, but designed by Ferrari. This car is actually one of the most beautiful cars ever designed, thanks to Aldo Brovarone and Leonardo Fioravanti (also authors of the legendary F40) for Pininfarina.
It was good to see a Dino without added Ferrari badges or prancing horses, that's one thing that really boils my piss!!. Like someone wearing a Tudor watch having to tell you its a Rolex!
Beautiful car, certainly far better presented than when it left the factory! And I know you were just itching to explain the difference between internally and externally balanced cranks.
It will be easier to do when i have the parts available, Visual representation is always helpful. 😁
@@FerrarisOnline Impressed you might have spare 206 and 246 crank and flywheel bits lurking around the shop.
Well the 206 motor is assembled. As far as 246... fresh out at the moment lol
You're getting better at this. The only suggestion I'd have is to maybe try to slow down a bit and give a calmer, more laid back presentation but I know it's not easy. One correction: I'm pretty sure the data plate on the driver's side door jamb also has the Ferrari mark on it. Keep up the good work, you'll be a pro soon!
I consider it a real Ferrari. Plus its one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever made. Plus Dino's had a much better color options. That is a gorgeous blue. I'm actually tired of red Ferrari's.
Chairs and flares. 91 made it to the U.S
any 6k kms you gotta have the rear axle removed in order to put a new oil filter in, or?
OOOOOOOOO pretty!
Very few people know that "chairs and flares" was not officially an option at the start. It actually came about due to the differing bucks upon which the bodies were formed. In fact, many cars with the flares did NOT have the chairs. You could order these at a later point in production, but with earlier cars, you simply got whatever arrived. Receiving a "chairs and flares" car was just a hit or miss proposition
Hi I came from tiktok
Awesome! Glad you made it! Hope you enjoy the videos. :)
Ferrari's are always as beautiful as you
Wasn't that 6 cylinder unit also used in the Stratos by Lancia?
Oh, Colleen! Outstanding video and great information, but... Porsche is a two syllable word! Nobody drives a Toy-ot! It’s Toy-ota and Por-sha! But any way you say it, the video couldn’t be better. Thank you!
Great video! Finally i see you wear and driving with sandals! But this time show no pedals and shifting action...😢😢😢
Nasty ass what’s with y’all liking toes 😂😂😂😂😂
Interesting door latch?

I was more mesmerised with her trousers 😍🥰😘
I’m waiting for you to “interview” your father about his experiences in racing which I know he did with several Camel Lights teams. Ps. Sweet little Dino.
Tom Bucher
We just recorded the next podcast yesterday, so it should be up in the next few days. It covers some sktories from racing... there are a ton!
Ferrari Dino 246 Fiat Dino super cars for my dank you
These used to be 60k when noone wanted them!
You used to be able to pick up a 250gto for $7k all day long too at one point.
@@FerrarisOnline that's not a good comparison. You're comparing decades old prices when I'm comparing shirt of one decade ago for the 246 dino...
FOR SALE ???
how much?
My all time favourite car. Except I would do what David Lee did and whack a V8 in one & upgrade the suspension, steering & brakes etc... great review. thank you.
The car is called Dino, not because of a 6 cyclinder. It's called Dino after his son that died. I'm surprised someone selling this car doesn't know that.
Nobody said it was called a dino because it had 6 cylinders...
@@FerrarisOnline Watch your video again. You stated that Enzo didn't want to call it a Ferrari because it was 6 cylinders, so they gave it a different name. That's not correct at all. They gave the car a different name to honor his son. You seemed unaware who Dino Ferrari was and how the name of the car came about.
Watch our other videos... they didnt badge it ferrari because of its engine size. Else it would be a ferrari dino..
@@FerrarisOnline I think leaving out the name of Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari and focusing on the displacement of the engine was a mistake. In this particular marque, Dino Ferrari created the V6 and was working on the engine design refinement when he died at 24 and this is why Enzo named the marque Dino, after his son. That's a far more interesting story to tell when selling a car like this, and its accurate as well. That is a special provenance I hope you don't ignore the next time.
Ive done 4 dino videos. If we talk about the same thing over and over it doesnt work. Thanks for you input though.
The flar dosnt make sense to me. I can see that the wheel sits much more inward that the flare sticks out
First glance I thought it is a alpine hahah
there is a rare fiat with ferrari engine a v12 engine that agnelli the fiat chairman drove
Por' sha, and the visors are an after-thought, not second hand.
Amazing color combination and the lady simply beautiful and sexy keep up the awesome work ur doing ❤️
Did l hear correctly - you called him Alfredino ??
His name was Alfrido , his nickname was Dino !!
The same colour as your eyes !
If it wasn't a drop dead gorgeous Dino. I would have been distracted too much by your Trousers ( Pants ) lol
Enzo's son was named "Alfredo". "Dino" would be the more appropriate nickname. Pretty sure nobody *EVER* called him "Alfredino" outside the family.... unless they wanted to get slapped or fired. 😁
ferrari 348 got motor mechanical 3500 ccm 335 hp 32v V8 and 8750 rpm use average 12,5 litres ~2,75 gallons 1982. bmw full electronic motor 3 litres 20-40 litres 4,5-9 gallons use average and around 6000 rpm have 2000-2021. look after.
Better than the yo bro shit especially DDE grown as hell acting like that
I fully understand what you're saying about the only being like five coupes but who in the hell would want to have to settle for a hardtop. Fuck that shit. Give me a targa top or convertible or something. It pisses me off because Ford is not building a Mustang Shelby convertible this year. I just do not like a hard top sports car. If I'm going to buy a sports car it better have a goddamn convertible top or a Targa or some type of removable roof. And it pisses me off because they'll make the fastest one with the hard top and it's like what about the rest of us that don't like a fucking hard top. Thank God for motorcycles
Those times were making real cars. Today, they make overpriced electronics
Exactly!
Unless you are beefing the engine, why bother with the flares? Prefer non flared hard top...aka Danny Wilde!
Sadly from 2030 on the green parties in the EU have banned all combustion vehicles from public streets in Europe. Germany shortens fuel supply after 2025 by closing down all petrol stations in the cities except of one remaining per city!
They still have time to pull their heads out of their asses.
@@FerrarisOnline The greens even banned lawnmowers with petrol engine here and vacuum cleaners over 1000 Watts...they just forbid everything
This Ferrari 206 Dino y interresse for this Ferrari Dino 206 commentaires for my preiss and interresse next cars for my
Dino GTS 206 dank for informations
Please stop calling it a Ferrari. Enzo originally started a separate make, and he called that make Dino, after his son. He got very angry when people stuck Ferrari badges on the 206 and 246.
You should know better.
Homologation is "kind of a silly rule"?
Ok, I'm outta here....
Let’s be constructive here. Share why it isn’t a silly rule and we can all learn from it 🤷🏽♂️
Jesus Christ, the guy made a car to commemorate his son but refused to put his name on it. I struggle to find that true, but if it is, that's a dick move.
She pulled out of Jay Leno’s garage 😆 I know those signs anywhere
Uh no. This is our place. Not jay lenos.
beautiful car but color? ferrari is yellow black red Amen!
Ferrari used to race in blue. :D
So sad tatoo 😩
Hi, I like the cars you are talking and driving about! You are a Kung fu talker, fighting hands very hectic or is it normal in your area? And by the way, (don't take me too serious) the ugliest trousers I have ever seen! Tastes are different, and you can wear everything.....for example handcuffs on your back while talking... Only as a joke.... Greatings
I thought they were really stylish trousers and she wore them with flair.
