Very sought after even to this day. In the current, Tom uses mostly Vox amplifiers during his gibson/starcaster time.

You guys couldn't be more wrong about the age group. I 1st saw Blink 182 when I was 18 years old live at The Playroom, Tallebudgera, Gold Coast, Queensland Australia in 1996. I'm 46 now so there you go. I've been listening to Blink since Cheshire Cat album. These guitars are more for the 35-50 year range. People in the 20-35 year range now were not born yet or like 8 when Blink were in their prime years. I was 17 when I discovered them in the 90s.

It’s very much the sore thumb of Fender’s designs, isn’t it? Leo’s early designs all follow a path of evolution where you can see the family resemblance from Tele, P Bass, Strat, Mustang, J Bass and Jazzmaster. The Starcaster is obviously designed by someone else and really feels like Fender copying the Gibson ES range. Saying that you can see it looks like it influenced the Fender EVH Wolfgang redesign and even more so WVH’s only signature model.

Do Pete and Lee have something against blink-182? This is twice now they’ve not been the ones to show off the new Tom DeLonge guitars all the videos we get with the same rehash of a Les Paul or Stratocaster and when something genuinely new comes along there nowhere to be seen🥸🥸
    Nice review though lads 🤘.

Probably let the young guys do it coz they are more into Blink-182 and more capable of jamming in that style. Would be funny to see Lee and Pete open the video playing their usual relaxing bluesy jam on these though.

I would rather say digitally-djenty duo fits better in this style than Mayery-Prince'y duo ;)

Lee and Pete are complete dags. I don't understand their boring boomer taste in music myself as I'm not into old crap and I'm about the same age as Lee. I'm gen X. Lee should be playing and listening to punk, grunge, alternative and metal. But he listens and constantly goes on about 80s boomer rock

It would be a tremendous disservice to the guitar and audience buying it if they had the captain and danish pete playing dad blues on this 😂

I actually liked the old headstock swoosh...i think they really could've made that look amazing and "expensive" if they borrowed from some other great looking guitar's with 2-tone headstock designs.
But thats still a great looking guitar. Better watch the rest for the specs n @ now

This thing is made in Indonesia and costs 1200? So it's a squier CV with a 800 dollar fender sticker on it....

Has Fender been producing other models in the Far East that are sold with FENDER badging? I thought 'FENDER's were only made in USA or Mexico, and all the Asian stuff were branded SQUIRE? Except for Japan of course, but that's almost a completely separate market with instruments built exclusively for the region.

@StreetPreacherr there's one model. The Jim Adkins JA90 telecaster. But that itself is a $1100 squier paranormal series cabronita telecaster with a $800 fender sticker on the headstock. It at least has 2 extra knobs than the Squier, where this tom delonge has 3 less.

1199 USD is crazy with no blink inlays, case, and made in Indonesia 😂

Wow yeah! I was definitely a bit surprised when I checked the price and realized these aren't even American Made... And they didn't even show of the 'signature feature' of "Subtly-placed artwork from Tom himself on the back of the body & headstock.". For that kind of money you can get USA made Gibson LP DC with a single Pickup. So a thousand pounds seems a bit steep for a Asian Made instrument, unless you're just a HUGE fan of Tom?

      1. Locking tunners
      2. Seymour Duncan USA pickup
      3. The most importan Fender Logo
      4. Its an special model, special colors, Delonge signature
I think the cost is justified
