Guatemala is "a country of volcanoes, beautiful landscapes, coffee, and chocolate" - and until I watched Noraly ("Itchy Boots") and now, Ksenia, when I thought of Guatemala, all I could picture were crowds of people fleeing north to the U.S. from cities filled with gangs and poverty. This is truly eye-opening, to see the beauty of Guatemala.

Excellent choice of a motorcycle for this journey. It fits your stature and road choices.The smaller motorcycles are much easier to handle and get you into places the larger ones cannot. I have an Africa Twin but yearn for my old Honda XL250 once the trails become less trodden.
