    ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:
    So let’s take a look at the phone. I am used to larger phones, so although the 6.5” 120Hz amoled display makes the phone a bit larger, the plastic build keeps it light. As a guy, my clothes all have large pockets, but I could imagine anyone with smaller pockets or smaller hands might find this phone a bit too large. Of course this large size is necessary for the star of this phone, being the display. With a very small cutout for the 32mp selfie camera and the hidden in display fp sensor, this display is really high quality and has almost everything that $1000 phones have with regards to the display.
    Visible in bright light. Great for gaming/media. Etc.
    Samsung does screens best
    Bezels are larger
    The combination of a large and light phone makes it feel a bit cheaper than flagships, and I Think thethe all plastic build materials are to blame. With that said, I do think this phone looks really nice. It kind of reminds me of the S21 ultra from last year.
    You can see it is a pretty clean looking phone (expandable storage, no headphone, volume/speaker/power/etc. But no DEX)
    Some good news despite the light weight is that the battery is pretty impressive! I can pretty easily get over 6 hours of screen on time in a day before I get a low battery warning. I think most people could afford to charge this every 2 days.
    Besides the somewhat cheap feel, my first complaint was with the charging. 25W fast charging fills the 5000mAh battery quickly, but I much prefer wireless charging when in my car or at my desk. Lacking wireless charging is a common compromise for mid range phones like this, but fortunately this does not make one of the other common compromises being the IP rating. Many midrange and budget phones have no water resistance rating and although they are less expensive, I still want to make sure my phone doesn’t die if I drop it in a puddle. The Galaxy A53 has IP67 water and dust resistance just like the top tier S-series
    When it comes to cameras, (camera tour)
    Does not come with a charger
    * Speaker test
    * Camera test
    So what has day to day use been like?
    * I was using a pixel 6 pro and iPhone 13 pro before. This is clearly not as fast
    * I am impressed by the value of this phone. Besides the speed, there is very little difference the average user will notice and it is a fraction of the cost
    * The phone might need a screen protector and case to avoid scratching
    * The FP sensor was fast and accurate but if your hands are wet, it can be problematic
    * Dual speakers made media sound nice
    * I changed the navigation, animations, and dark mode

    removing the charger on a midrange phone is a bad move remember people who buy midrange phones are people who are on a tight budget wich would mean they would prefer a phone that comes with everything so bcuz of this buyers might shift to other brands

    The Exynos chip in this device is around a 765g equivalent. It’s actually about 25% or so faster than that Snapdragon chip, but at this price I really think we should be getting an 865/788g equivalent. I decided on one of these for my first new phone in 3 years. Coming from a J7, it will be a tremendous upgrade. The features it doesn't have are ones I don't care about anyway. Wireless charging is fundamentally inefficient and wasteful. The lack of headphone jack means I will have to upgrade the cassette adapter in my 20 year old car, lol. Lack of charger is not a big issue because I have other chargers. Bose Soundlink Mini II charger is excellent for charging phones. I also have a couple of old Samsung fast chargers laying around. I think it is a minor issue because, at the end of the day, it helps keep the price under the $500 mark.

    As a blind user of this phone with TalkBack, I would also like to add that the dual speakers on this phone are amazing and do wonderful things for my classic TV playlists.
    I would like to see a stronger vibration intensity than it has now. Think of it as screen "brightening."
    I would also like to see the Samsung TTS version updated to 3.1.02.97 from the current 3.1.02.95, would give much higher quality Samsung voices. Firstly thanks for the in-depth review :), for the price it’s an ok phone - you can’t expect a top end camera at that price range although I’d say it’s better than the iPhone 13 camera, I do agree that without a wireless charging option they should have left the power brick in the box - not many buyers at this end of the market are likely to have usb c chargers - I myself have just 1 in my house but if your not fussed about the cheaper build quality it’s a good option considering how expensive premium phones are now

    But in over all quality of the phone, I'd rather pick the a52s 5g because it has a snapdragon chipset which really helps to maintain good battery life. It also has a headphone jack that a53 doesn't have, and lastly it has a charger in the box. And right now, I'm currently using the a52s 5G and it is superb nice especially the software updates it helps the camera experience to much more realiable and stable.

I really don't have interest in upgrading anytime soon but I will be little bit interested to see where the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will fit as it is the 6.7" upgrade model to my 6.7" phone. Also I beg to disagree that this is the most exciting phone on the A series this year cuz there is A73 5G here also which is somewhat a major upgrade to last year's A72 which is not even 5G and has only 90Hz display. A73 is surely not Available in BLACK but it has this dull GRAY colour, MINT & for some weird reasons there is a WHITE colour too for the A73 5G but NO BLACK colour.
