#cavediving #CaveDivingtragedy - Zábava
When you feel uncomfortable about a situation, you should turn around. Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching!
That's what I'm saying. Especially when your doing something that has a high risk of death. I can't tell you how many stories I've heard where cave diving or any diving for that matter ends horribly wrong.
If you have the option to turn around, that’s a great idea….. but sometimes unfortunately that’s not an option.
Where have you he are these stories of diving "gone wrong"? What a great subject for youtube! Someone should get on that. The rest of us would love to hear such tales.
I disagree. I think the minute you enter an underground or underwater cave, you should turn around. Maybe even just turn round on the drive there.
John knew this was a mistake, his instincts saved him
I can’t imagine the devastation of finding out you unknowingly swam beneath your friend multiple times while trying to save him 😔
Thanks for the stories.
Thank you for watching!
Oh my god it’s JOCKS KUUU-STOW!!!!!!!!!!
I don't feel sorry for stupid people who willingly put themselves in such dangerous situations
Nice Video i always watch your videos while playing 👍
Thank you!
Miners knew hundreds of yrs ago about the possibilityof poisonous air (use of canarys). Test air first! Sad mistake.
I don’t like the claustrophobia game, I don’t wanna play!! 🥺
Count me out!
I feel myself freaking out just listening to these ~~
Dude please say
"Jacques-Yves Cousteau" again
I Love it.
I love your videos and channel! It gives me a look of beauty that I will never experience...However, I do have to say that you mispronounced the name of Jacques Cousteau. It is pronounced Jack Coo-sto. Normally I would never comment on this as everyone does this. But for me, Jacques Cousteau is not only one of the GREATEST pioneers in cave diving but in exploring the ocean as well! I remember as a child watching his documentaries as he explored the oceans and discovered so much. I would put him in the same category as Lewis and Clark! I have such a deep respect for him. Again I'm sorry if I sound nit-picky as that is not my objective. Thank you for all of your videos, I learn so much from them ❤️
4:08 Wait Will Smith is a cave diver, i bet he be down there slappin the shit out some fish lol, all joking aside this was a fantastic video.
Made my day! Brilliant comment!
@@Cry.For.Ukraine 😂😂👍🏽👍🏽
I watch these videos because I'm honestly trying to figure out the fun behind doing this! It seems so miserable and sad even if u make it out. For the ones that make it out, how doesn't it feel like a exhausting relief that u survived and makes u never wanna be in that place or anywhere like it again!? This is so taxing on my mental
I might Do Caving if Someone Paid me 1 Billion....
Yes sir ! Agreed . $$$ first , then the dive …
Might be a stupid question but if they have a guide line then why not tie yourself to it like when rock climbing? Also can you not wait for the silt to settle down?
You can probably get tangled on guide lines and then stuck. Who knows how long silt will take to settle, meanwhile you are breathing your air. And it is always possible for psychological issues to occur like panic
It can take hours to days for the silt to settle down
How old are you that you never heard the name KU-STOW. When I was young and we played in my pool KU-STOW was the only ocean explorer we knew I mean that’s how famous this man is. That a child who grew up with no internet only books like encyclopedias no tv channels like discovery channel or history channel knew of Jacques Cousteau I mean he’s so famous auto spell has his name saved. Now that’s fame
Cool videos
Jacques Cousteau
If anyone told me, they have an uneasy feeling or don't feel safe about something like that. I'd take his advice, idk if I'm a coward
I appreciate the stories you tell, but I have to be fair here and put it out there for you and others:
If you want to watch accurate information about cave diving and really get firsthand why they do it, how they do it properly, check out Dive Talk.
I got drawn to videos like this out of morbid curiosity, but after seeing actual cave divers like Edd Sorensen, Mike Young, Gus and Woody from Dive Talk go in depth about it and the rules they adhere to and why, I gained what I feel is a more accurate perspective and a more balanced perspective rather than just the other end of the spectrum wtih all the doom and gloom that these sorts of videos tend to focus on.
Penelope Powell and Graham Balcombe 1935 were the first cave divers.
They had their dive permission for only one month ?! And went in THAT cave ?! 😮
Wait a minute. The flashlight died?
❓STORY 1 I'm confused. If his 1L tank was out why didn't he switch to the other tank? I'm just confused. Was there a leak and that's why he ran out? Didn't he have Xtra tanks? Was it a special tank? LOVE your videos! I can't get enough ❤️
"He looked at his gauges.. Something was wrong he then passed out" . Bit later it's stated he had no air. So He was breathing the toxic air in the cave/cavern. Which caused him to pass out. Either whoever filled the tank messed up the numbers. There was a leak. Something went wrong and he didn't have air anymore.
@@EmptyPeace thank you for explaining! So he didn't realize until it was too late basically.
@Whitney Dahlin yup that's one of the most common ways these guys die.. because nothing physical happens when your breathing most toxic air so you have no idea your in trouble at all thinking your breathing regular air and then you pass out
No one should risk their life trying to recover someone who risk their own it’s not wise I would never risk my life trying to recover your s
Thank the Lord I can't swim
Legends say if you make it to the source of the Mill Creek Stream, you'll find millions and millions of DVDs of shitty, no budget movie compilations.
I think I'm the only one who got that joke lol
@@gwenray17 then you, ma'am, are a gentlewoman and a scholar.
Bacon = Macon lol
Point of the story : always follow your instincts ! Always - no regrets .
LOL, you pronounce it "zhaaack coo-stooo" not whatever that was
Please STOP calling Air Tanks "Oxygen Tanks", their is a big difference.
And a lot of the facts he has about diving and the assumptions he makes are completely wrong
Man, it's just a scary stories channel, get over yourself.
There's also a big difference between their and there, but you didn't seem to care.
as a diver: yeah huge difference
He's not making a video about language is he though?@@iHopeyoure0ffended
Nah, I’ll pass, but enjoyed the video.
You butchered the most famous divers name. It’s pronounced Kuuu-Stow. I mean i have no background in diving but even I knew that name. That man is famous on like a S list even above a listers. Like Beethoven Van Gogh Davinci Mozart Mario Luigi Toadstool Yoshi Wario Bowser Peach Goomba Link Zelda Master Chief Marcus Dominik Baird Anya Cole train Chaplin Cheech Chong Boreanez Gellar Prince Jr Daffney Fred Velma Shaggy Scooby Huey Duey Luey webigail Scrooge
Downvoted solely for how you said Cousteau’s name
Obviously you have nothing but foreign viewers because none of them are complaining about how you pronounced Pensacola.
