Yamaha TTR110 idle issues. Quick fix, for now….

- Jayces ttr110 has been having idle issues. The carb has been cleaned before, but it still seems to have issues idling when warm. I opened the pilot jet just a hair, and it seems to be helping. If this doesn’t work, I suppose a jet kit of some sort will be in order.
If anyone has had this issue and knows a fix, leave it in the comments!

I’ve had the same issues. Doesn’t like idling with the choke off. Since brand new. I haven’t found a fix. Might try the bigger pilot like you were saying. Thanks
I ended up putting the cold start jet kit in it. Much better now. Hardly even needs the choke and throttle response is better.
Had a similar issue. Went from a 12.5 pilot and 95 main to a 15 pilot and 105 main. Bike runs a lot better. Hope this helps
I ended up putting the cold start jet kit in it. It’s way better now! But…..I can’t stop thinking about the klx carb mod. I’m hearing that’s the way to go.
Where did you get the jet kit? I have a ttr110 that since new has a stumble off idle and has never ran well without the choke. Thinking I need to go bigger on the pilot and or main
I got mine at factoryminibikes.com. Looks like they are out of stock right now. If you google TTR110 tusk cold start kit, eBay and Amazon have them too. I ran it all winter long with zero starting issues. Pretty much slap the choke off as soon as it starts. Also, rarely need a choke in summer.
Great video and bike too. Who is easy for wheelies: the ttr 110, the klx 110 or the crf 110? Some friends told me to take the klx 140, they told me that is the best for learning wheelies. What is your opinion? Thanks 👍
The ttr110 is far more torquey than the CRF110 we have, but the CRF is way more refined and all round smooth. I think the rate is a better wheelie bike, but the CRF is a better all round trail bike. We want to do a comparison video. The good thing about 110s, is they are very upgradeable.

Pit pro racing or PPR from Amazon. It’s a little longer than the factory one, but definitely looks and feels better.
