Thanks Jim! It should be a nice reliable machine for a while now. Nothing worse than having a breakdown when it 90 degrees outside and everyone is hungry and overtired LOL (usually meaning me LOL)

I work on a lot of old vehicles. Restoring them. I always keep seafoam in my fuel. As soon as I buy fuel and put it in a fuel can I put 5 oz of seafoam in it. I have had vehicles sit for two years and the fuel was still good. Really saves a lot of work in the long run. Nothing worse than pulling down a fuel tank.

I love the stuff! My dad always raved about Marvel Mystery Oil but I don't know enough about it. He said he would put it in his oil and his gas. I saw some the other night at Wal-Mart and I almost picked up a bottle to check it out. My dad used to restore old vehicles also. Before he passed he got a Dearbourne award and was going for a 1000 point car. He loved it. He wanted me to get inovolved but I wasn't into it as much as him. I'm more into the Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, C-10 68-72 era.

@@MotoVated207 I now have a 61 comet sedan which was made from the leftovers from the 60 Edsel. I also have a 68 mustang for the 351 Windsor 4 speed. I have a 64 Ford custom. I've completely restored a 78 F100 from the frame up and I'm just about to wrap that up. Plus customer work. I decided to retire from a body shop after 40 plus years but I never retired lol. LOL but today I bought a boat. I think I'm going fishing! LOL

Hahahaha now that sounds like fun and it sounds like you keep yourself busy. I had a 77 ford pickup back in high school. My friend and I did the body work and painted it. We took all the masking tape off then as I backed out of the garage, my friend thought it was a good idea to OPEN the passenger door so he could hit the garage door remote. The door peeled itself back as I was backing out. That was a fun day lol

There's a filter in the line maybe at the shutoff or carb. I rebuilt the carb on a 2006 and found it disintegrating. Fixed it with a filter like you. Good tips

Thanks man! Hmmmmm....i will have to look into it further. If there is a filter, I will remove it because this one is better.

Those kinds of issues is why i don't buy used stuff. Not even from a neighbor. I bought my neighbors Ford truck and after driving it 3 days, I found that it burned way too much oil. So I started tearing it apart and found it had a warped head and the neighbor stopped over and said he had new connecting rod bearings put in and that's when I told him if you had it half way apart you should of had them install new rings. I could shake the pistons. So after all that we became not so close. Finally got it back together in 3 days and it ran so much better and then I traded it for a van bigger mistake but that's the way it goes. After all those problems, i decided to just buy new.

I've had pretty good luck buying used. Plus I know that I'm super OCD anyways so pretty much anything I buy I realize im going to dig into it. I enjoy these types of projects so I don't consider my time so I usually save a good bunch of money too. I generally don't make quick decisions when buying something for the reasons you mentioned. I've been burned too

This one is a little heavey for my 5 year old grandson. We took off the training wheels and he struggled to pick it up when he dumped it so we put them back on. The PW is a lot lighter but doesnt have electric start which is really nice. I like this bike a lot.
