Just found your channel, I have just passed my national exam and will be retaking my state portion next week. I will also be starting part-time as an agent while continuing my full-time job until I am able to save up enough to go into RE full-time. Very inspirational!
I have literally found my queen. Been looking for a strong black woman to follow while taking this real estate journey. Starting my classes at the end of January. My husband and I are all about multiple streams of income and building as entrepreneurs. Subscribed and hope you need agents when I’m done with school, I am also in the DFW area. Have a great day Ms. Chauncey.
Real estate is hard!!! And a realty check lol. I like how you said the market conditions attributed as well. You go girl!
This was very helpful on what to expect in your first year. I’m in California and I know it very challenging but obtainable... after I take my test I will be all in the game. Thank you again!!
I’m in college right now. I just decided I want to get into real estate. And watching your videos eases my nervousness lol. Hopefully I’ll have my license in 3 months tops.
Starting my courses to get in while the market is down and learn in the trenches. Thank you for the info
You’re videos are extremely helpful and straight to the point. I’m a huge fan. Subscribed!
wonderful share -- thank you for the info Chauncey
As a aspiring soon to be agent how was it transitioning from a full time job to real estate
TreCurry 6 It was hard af. I worked my regular job all day and did showings at night and on weekends. I also did at least 2 Open Houses every weekend. So I literally had no days off for about 2.5 months. But it allowed me to quit my job which was a game changer. Temporary discomfort for future gain.
Chauncey Pham very motivational!
Chauncey Pham p
Looking to go into real estate. Thanks for the insight.
congrats on your hard work!! I make great money in the corporate world but I'm completely burned out and my father has been doing well in the last year and has a good broker connection for a very low flat fee and I'm working on my exit plan...this was very motivational
I’m a new agent in the DMV area. Your videos are very helpful thank you so much for your inspiration.
Love your passion and excitement for the business!
Your definitely my motivator
I Have to say, You are an Amazing person! I absolutely had to subscribe to your channel! I just started mine(channel) recently and hope it grows but I know the content has to be good...you are inspiring me with your videos! Thank you!
Hey Superstar!! Great VLOGS! 5 stars!! Thank you sooo much for the LEAD reality. I'm getting ready to MEET-UP with other entrepreneurs in NYC.
I love your channel! I am learning so much! Thank you for putting this info up!
Chan V So glad that you enjoy the content! Let me know if there’s anything else that you’d like to see!
Wow! Nice videos. I’m about to jump in!
Great video. Appreciate you being truthful about the real estate game.
Just found this. You caught my attention right away. Thanks!!
Love this video and all the information in it. Just getting started myself and will definitely be using this advice!
Thanks for sharing. A lot of value here. Subscribed!
A friend shared your channel with me...Wonderful and informative.Im a New Realtor in Cali
Love your content, two videos in and you have a new subscriber! What camera do you use for your vlogs? It looks spectacular 👏🏼👏🏼lol
completely off topic, but your so pretty 🖤 thank you for the knowledge!!
You said “bring something to the table for them” when talking about the big ballers of the industry. What kind of things can you bring of value?
Anything you’re good at that they may not be, offer to help them with any bitch work they need. I’m personally good with video and social media, so that’s what I lead with. Host Open Houses for their listings, if you’re good with photography - offer some services. Just offer anything that you can help with - no one wants to give you their time and resources for nothing.
Great video! Thank you.
Way to go Chauncey!!! Love that name btw, that was a really cool testimonial.
Love your videos!
Hey Chauncey, I'm a new sub but love your videos so far! When you say you purchased some of your lead generation list, how do you do so?
Earned my sub 🙏🏼 just passed both my national & state test after failing 3 times 🥹 your videos are motivating keep it up!!
Love the topic for this video. But how do you hold yourself accountable on a day by day, week by week, month by month activities? BUSINESS PLAN. Love your ideas and your passion but I believe a solid business plan will help tremendously.
Did you quit your corporate job right away to go into real estate?
Where is part I ?
Love it! Is you locating side only focused in Dallas or the other major cities as well? I’m almost done with RE school and locating is actually what I want to be my focus to start.
I just started real estate school, left a career as a Congressional Aide. I’m 25 and huge on saving for retirement. If possible could you explain how you budget & save for retirement? How did you go about saving your money early on so that you could sustain until your next sale, how much do you put aside monthly etc..?
Any update on how it's been after a year or two!
Thank you!
I would love to start a #connect4real “branch” or club in my home town
i had the same thought!
Great video
Just starting out in the business how or what can I do to not waste someone’s time who is really good at it ?
Ok so I’m in class now. Do you have a course or can I pay for mentoring?
I am new to your channel & I am also in Dallas. I am almost done with my course. What brokerage would you recommend for someone who also has a full time job & mom to 2 toddlers. I don’t want to set myself up for failure or spend a lot of unnecessary money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your helpful videos!🙂
Any update on what brokerage or how it's been with your lifestyle?
How did you choose a broker?
Hi Chauncey, I need help on your new construction networking I was thinking of going this route myself but wasn't sure how to approach this today with covid etc. I want to ask for the business and be a great referral partner but not sure how to break the ice.
I just subscribed. I'm in the surrounding area of Atlanta looking to get into the market but I know the marketing part is going to be hard for me. I've been going back and forth about becoming an agent.
Any update on if you went for it as an agent or went down a different path?
@@lei2164 no. I got to the end and imposter syndrome took over but it might not have been my path to begin with.
Good vid
Where do you buy leads?
Hi Chauncey, Was wondering which broker you were working with in DFW that offers flat fee commission structure! Thanks! Great Video!
Shyam Patel It was Fathom Realty. Great Brokerage!
Chauncey Pham Did they provide training for agents? I’m thinking about eXp Realty and just want to know if it might be better to go Fathom Realty. Thanks again!
Shyam Patel Funny you’d say that... It’s still a secret (unless someone reads our thread :) but I’m taking my entire Brokerage to EXP starting Sept 1st! I’d say that the resources from your up line, technology, and multiple streams of revenue that you can get from EXP are better for agents that are attractors than Fathom. Fathom is great for agents that are of very servant and faith based mindsets and don’t have any interest in growing passive streams of revenue. Both are great but it depends on what you’re looking for. I will say that my personal experience with Fathom was that I just cultivated a relationship with a top producer and she answered my questions. There wasn’t a formal “training program” back then (3yrs ago) but I’m unsure if that has changed. If you’re looking at EXP, we should chat!
Was going to ask the same question... 😊
@@ChaunceyPham I'm in Houston. Have you networked with agents from JPAR? Can you share your thoughts on EXP vs JPAR?
I'm strongly considering JPAR because the culture seems like a great fit. For EXP, it seems you have to make sure you get in the right network; I'm unsure of how to secure that.
I love your videos! 💞 I just passed my exam 2 days ago. I look forward to learning from your experiences!
Great presentation! What brokerage are you with?
Exp Realty
How much to mentor me ?
Hello! I'm finishing up my RE courses and will have my license by the end of the year...do you recommend keeping a full time job when starting out? Or starting full time?
@@TheFishAndTrips Thanks for the info! I have about 4 months savings and a partner who can help hold down bills until things get moving. I was hoping to keep a full time gig to keep from dipping into savings but it sounds like that will be required
She looks kinda like monica from friends
Just subscribed. I take my exam in 2 days and I wish I was on DFW area so I can join your brokerage lol but I’m in Houston.
Im really torn between Exp & KW🙃
Any update?
@@chiefkeef8902 lol yeah
What flat fee brokerage were you with?
Samantha H. Fathom Realty
How much of this $190k is gross income and how much did you actually net after business expenses?
My first year, my expenses were VERY low. I spent $900/mo on leads and $99/mo to my brokerage. $700 for the year on board/Association/MLS fees, and gas. So around $15,000 in expenses 🤷🏽♀️. I still run a very lean business at around 85% margin.
@@ChaunceyPham congrats on that, thank you for the reply. no closing/transaction fee with your brokerage? Either way that is a great profit margin, thank you for the insight. Inspiring videos with a great vibe.
@@ChaunceyPham seesh my mls board is 700 a month the bay area sucks lol but I can't complain you can't find homes for under 1 million 🤷♂️
Would you ever consider doing private tutoring/mentoring?
That’s an offering of mine now since so many people asked about it. Click the link above to book a call with me and we can discuss your options!
@@ChaunceyPham Awesome, awesome! I will definitely do that. I live in the DFW area, so hopefully that makes it a tad bit easier haha!
Great content! Love it! New Subscriber.
Can you tell me how it was transferring careers as a mother? Was it a huge adjustment with the change in schedule. You may have a video that mentions it, if so please direct me to it. :)
I’m newly licensed and I want to hop in 100% (full time) but something keeping me back is putting my little ones (2kids) in daycare $$. I think that’s just a risk I’m going to have to take.
Tiffany Bailey it was hard as hell transitioning. I did both for about 2 months (my old job as an Account Executive for a Marketing firm and Real Estate). Schedule didn’t bother me so much since my previous career was very flexible and I worked from home. Childcare is going to be a must if you really want to pursue it full-time!
Thanks for the quick response! And I agree.
Should you know anyone looking to move to Austin, send them my way! Whether it be North, South, East, West or in between, I can assist. Again, thanks for these videos! They are extremely helpful.
How many transactions did you do your first year? Great video!
Mary Truban 31
Damn😍
I want to be on your team so bad #wisconsin
🙌🏾
Hey chauncey you’re cute lovely beautiful lady
Did you experience any racism in the market? Did you have any white clients?
I’ve never experienced racism in my business. My guess is that if they had an issue with my race, they wouldn’t reach out anyway🤷🏽♀️. I work with all types of clients.
@@ChaunceyPham what was the easiest and hardest way you got your leads
Great video
Thank you for your honesty! Great video.
