I wouldn't say Leon was average, but he definitely rose to the occasion. Also, he may have told us what his plan was during the fighter introductions that Bruce Buffer was doing when he did the "headshot" gesture. That was something that he never did in any of his previous fights.

Let's be honest. Similar to Charles Oliveira, Usman is still the champion in my eyes. He was dominating that fight until Leon hit the lotto with that lucky fluke kick. Doesn't even count as a loss in my book because of luck and the multiple fouls (fence grabs, groin shots, and eye pokes) which left Usman compromised and half blind and unable to see that lucky kick. The ref also seperated them against the fence while Usman was mauling him in the clinch. Naija for life baby 🇳🇬 🇳🇬. Usman we stand behind you FOREVER!
