“He saves the headkick for once and a while” you totally called his KO hahaha
This was a fight a lot of people underestimated. Idk if he can beat usman again but people were acting like it was a sure thing. I have a really hard time rooting against someone on a 12 fight win streak
Man you nailed it at 11:50 ish. Opponents dont have many options outside of the ones he gives them. Its both the reason hes so effective and the reason people think hes boring. Hes a true professional narrowing down the chaos of a fight to the small spread of circumstances he wants to take advantage of. You see similar things in other sports i am aware of like people complaining about kicking when johnny Wilkinson played ten for england rugby union or the south african set piece game. Or Wlad Klitschko during his reign in heavyweight boxing with his jab and grab style. Or Barcelonas tiki taka in footie a decade ago.
That said, there is always a counter for the team or person with the right skillset, ability and tactics. It will be fascinating to see what can dethrone Leon because at the moment he is looking amazing.
I totally agree. I feel like he doesn’t fight often enough though because I want to see him more
His fight iq is the most underrated part of his game
Truth. He reads guys so well it’s just almost unreal
And he won the the 3rd fight to seal the deal, you are incredible.
Leon did a great job! I’m excited to see how far he goes as champ
Wow. And now he’s champ
It was a well deserved victory. He’ll have an even harder rematch ahead of him
@@DevilDogMartialArts- I think if he can be a bit more aggressive the next time and work some takedowns from his clinch he could defend the title.
Maybe even exploit usmans head movement again .
But I still think Usman most likely regains the title haha
@@blackswordsmanhypertrophy6095 Yeah, while I wouldn't call it a lucky shot, as it was well placed and well timed, up until that point, Usman seemed to be winnning
This is awesome man, thank you.
Thanks! I appreciate it
Great breakdown man! Your mma knowledge is insane 🔥
Thank you! I do my best
one thing to improve on this amazing breakdown is to use clips of leon edwards using these techniques
I stay away from showing clips only because the few times I’ve tried, CZcams bans them for copyright violations.
@@DevilDogMartialArts- ah no worries. keep up the good work!
Thanks for the breakdown
My pleasure!
Amazing break down
Thanks! I appreciate it
Amazing breakdown
Thank you!
Do you think your analysis still applies to the current Leon Edwards?
Yeah, his wrestling defense has improved but mostly he's the same fighter he was pre Usman.
