🇺🇸My only advice is that you should build it with no regrets afterwards. If ur thinking Big Block then u already know in ur heart that that's the way u wanna go. All In or All Out!!!! NEVER LIFT🤙🇺🇸🙏
Its a hard game to get into when you go big block and big tire the bottom is endlass as far as that setup
Small block, small tire, super lightweight something that will go down any road at any time big block and big tire is a ridiculous class/style car to get into right now
Much love from the northeast
I would have to agree with this statement.
Love you buddy. Let’s get to work. 🇺🇸
Wheres the build videos?!!!!!😆😆 Im ready to see this thing come together!!!! #SRC💪💪💪💪💪
Merica!!
😆😁
Small block is the way to go parts are cheaper Billy
Big block sounds nice 😁. Little 540 with a big single or twins. Or even better. Procharged with zoomies 😂
700 shot
Something light 😂
Big block
A little razzle dazzle 😂
@@third_gen_world763 Lmaoo 😂🎯
You’re the luckiest kid alive. Not the car... but the fact you have an old man that’s into the same thing. And brother. Plus the shop (where all the memories are made).
My 2 cents, paint it 1970 Nova Autumn Gold with the black roof, aluminum big block, and a single Promod 102mm 👌
Ohhhhh a whole new chapter in SRC adventures! Can't wait to see what's in store, and you KNOW we're on board!
You gotta do a big block! No doubt! 🤘🏼
One of the fastest pass I ever seen on the streets was by the OG Murder Nova!
Get a hold of Texas speed. Once they see your story they might sponsor you for big block.
Lol they don't do anything with big blocks
TS 427 and some twin turbos, why change something when it's proven to work
yea they give cleetus one motor after another!
@@lb9gta307 Well even if they don't a sponsorship would be a great boost SRC. Great channel and great content.
@@The1crazycaper a sponsorship would be great. I don't think TSP is right for the channel though. A lot of us are here because they don't run LS engines and all TSP builds is LS and gen 3 Chrysler Hemi engines. Lots of shops build great engine. Don't need everyone on youtube repping TSP.
Watching these vids backwards. No one should ever underestimate either one of you. It's great to see you take your dad's advice. But still make decisions. Like most people on these channels. We along for ride. Just this shirt time saw u both get so much valuable experience. Your response times and knowledge at your ages are amazing. Humble. Keep it up. Big block? 396?
I respect you Billy for you appreciate where you came from. When you said “it will be a damn good car for us” that just shows you are selfless and thats a win in my book sir. Looking forward to the content coming!
Congratulations on the new car!! I remember that car from back in the day. Big block for sure single or twins!! Can't wait to see the build and great content!! I am happy for you!!
Is this the same barnhills that raced at drag way 42 and Norwalk
OUTFRICKINSTANDING!
Gold and black top paint scheme? Yes.
500 - 502 CI twin turbo blow through? Yes.
Twin Precision PT8685 GEN2 CEA turbos? Yes.
Same boost control components, strategy and fueling used on the S10? Yes.
Tons of adjustable power with a big learning curve. But on the plus side, a VERY fast car without pushing it to it's limits. Sure it's gonna be costly and take time, but in the end it will all be worth it. I think it's fantastic that you guys snagged this legendary car and can bring it back to life. IMHO, it's exactly what you needed for the next step up in your racing career. One things for sure, it's gonna be a bad ass street car again. Big time congrats.
Hell yeah! The potential you have with this beast is unlimited! Can't wait to see the progress on it. Good job Billy!!
That would be awesome to see you guys do a few no prep kings events.
so stoked to see you doing this stuff, been watching for a minute and you are just getting faster and faster. this thing is gonna be a monster.
KISS...540 raised cam block AFR heads big single turbo Dominator blow through. 1st car I did the back half was a Nova, good choice!
While Camaros were shifting my Powerglide was getting it. They use Powerglides on dirt tracks and drag strips. Easy to rebuild and performance unmatched
HERES MY TWO CENTS. I HAD A 1969 Nova in high school. 1973 it wasn’t that old and had low miles. 307 Powerglide never got beat by a four speed 350 Camaro. Anyway it was gold too and bottom. That color gold was only 69 Nova and 1964 Cadillac. Go to paint store and see if you like it. I loved it because it wasn’t 24 karat gold color it was a VERY NICE TINT.. no black top a top with different color distracts from the overall look. My 2 cents.
GOD BLESS YOU !!!!!
There is no replacement for Displacement!
Except more!
Big block with big single turbo! Thanks for not destroying the s10. Excited to see what the nova brings!
Damn Billy. I rem trying to get a 302 fox with twin62s figured out back in mid 2000s. Pat was flyin with that thing making BIG strides. I remember being so fustrated watching hime run bottom 8s like nothing and we could barely get down with a low 9. I struggled for a cple yrs with the turbo tech back then. What an inspirational car to have! That car was very well known up in the North!
20 Lbs on a 500 Puts out 2000???? That would be the way to go Billy. BLOW's my mind The Power You guy's make. I met yal in Albany last year or a few months ago and was at the finish line when you and S10 Patch's flew by. I'd go with a combination like your talking about and build on that. Lord Knows Its In You!!!! PEACE Billy
That is awesome man. Super pumped for you. Can’t wait to see all the new content for the Nova.
FITS LIKE A GLOVE........................................................NICE JOB BILLY...................... EVERYONE GO RACING
Big Block brother, don't have to kill it to make big power. Good luck man, car is sick!
Man very excited to be a member of this CZcams channel happy for you and pops and having the new Nova on board I know you guys will make it fast God bless
Watching you guys has given me the inspiration to get into the sport. I look forward to all content you guys put out. Thank you guys
What are you building Mr. Rudd?
I'm excited as hell by the Nova! It looks like it has serious potential, and I'm sure you guy's will work to figure it out, and make it a winner. With your driving skill and work ethic, Pops old man wisdom and attention to detail, you'll be flyin in no time! Much luck and love from Cincy.
Billy you have the ability to do whatever but probably not a bad idea to take the next step to no prep kings and get on the big stage you earned it
Nice Billy go job on the Nova .... I'm hoping for a Big Block .............................................. Everyone go racing
Best of luck with this build, can't wait to see this thing done
Billy that thing is beautiful. It will be a hot rod. 540 bbc with 88s
Alloy 540 or 555 with 18 degree big chief dart heads 👌👌👌👌
Have you ever just been exceedingly happy for someone else? Awesome. Loving this. I thought something was up first time I saw the RC Nova. My first car was a 63 nova ss. Keep living the dream. Best.
Full build on both channels so exited man that’s been my dream car sense I was a little one exited to see you guys build it
Cant wait!... new content...plus the s10 is gonna keep grinding!! Excited for you guys!!! Growing and grinding! Love it!!!
Young man you have your youth and your Dad. You have all you need, build it the way you WANT. You have the rest of your life to grow old, your only young once, enjoy it. Be as financially responsible (as possible in the process.)
Power down, nose up, sir.
This is my exact story but with a 70 chevelle and we used to cruise and race the streets in high school. Love the videos can't wait to see the nova
Nice car, that is a lot of bars. Looks great!
Love the car Good luck with it Don't forget to have fun Life is short Enjoy it It's nice to see That they're still Strong Family out there You're lucky That you have Dad and mom That I love you Very lucky man God bless
Im happy for you bud. Congrats on the new ride. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Good luck with the car. I told your dad earlier on his channel we race a 69’ Nova with a bbc. It’s got a 4 link as well but we are running N/A on ours. It’s a great platform! Nice you’ve already got tubular front suspension and a rack. Those are things we still need to do because with a bbc the steering box hits the stock pan, which gives it a very small turning radius. Can’t wait to see what y’all do with it
Just watched your dad's vid. Love y'all bro
Nice find Billy, good luck on the big block build. Look forward to seeing it going down the road :)
500+ CI BBC/2SPD Turbo Glide/Built 9" Rear/Twin VSRacing Billet 88mm(Budget Boys) or Big Ol' Single Precision Pro Mod Gen2 110mm($$$ Ballin) on E85/Meth ...Keep it a Blow Thru Carb Setup of course for the Nostalgia. Keep up the good work BTK T2G & POPS, Would love to see the new car make a hit at Yellow Belly (The Gut) 1/8th Track in Dallas, if the car can get down that pavement your gold anywhere else in the states
Just remember Chuck from 405 ran a sbc and small tires and was super fast but big cubic is really great you can start and their is no limitations on hp.. good luck "Kid" 👍👍
Congrats guys
The way billy is headed you might as well build it to the max and save yourself the drama 😂💯🔥👌
Texas Speed needs to sponsor you guys
I'm happy for you you're going to the next level no matter what car you have or what you doing all always watch you're one badass dude !and you know how to drive. in the future holds everything for you don't let no one hold you back Billy!
Billy congratulations on the new car. Good luck with it no matter what route you decide to travel. I know you and your dad will enjoy the new challenge
Bad ass car bud, can’t wait to watch the build. Love the channel keep it up. Next time y’all in Ms I’m gonna have to catch up with y’all
Congratulations looks like a nice piece for you guys, it will be fast what ever you put in it I'm sure!Big block sounds nice...✌
Always love watching you guys you guys do some of the best and the coolest stuff on the pages
Lightweight, big turbos, can't wait to see what you do, been watching since day one, proud of ya man, tear that shit up!
Badass car Billy. Can’t wait to see you out with it. I’d definitely go aluminum Big Block. It will cost more but you won’t have to run it near as hard as the small block. Good luck buddy.
SRC TTFMF!!!! Badass as always fellas! Much love from Ky!
Two cars is a huge commitment and really tough to stay on top of even with the resources of the three of you. And there's the $$ part. I'd take the drivetrain from the S10 and set the truck off to the side, you can always come back to it. Really nice to have an already sorted engine and trans combo for compare and contrast as you dial in the Nova. Between the weight savings, aero and power to the ground that small block - Nova combo should get you where you want to be. And probably a year sooner. If you want to go big block later the car will be sorted by the time that's ready. Notice how well a step at a time has worked on the S10, just some food for thought. Good luck and enjoy!!
I never comment but I want to say the way you do your videos now with voice over and such is great good stuff bro like always can't wait to watch you gaptise in the nova
Go Big young man, you will be happy with all that extra HP. I look forward to the build. Good luck...
Congratulations Billy and had a good laugh with the Chain steering wheel bit !!
Sounds like you just bought your dream car! Nova looks badass! I say keep the sbc, heck y’all bust people with a sbc and heavy truck that shouldn’t be as fast as it is!
Nice car I had a 71 I bought out of North Carolina wish I still had it.
You dance with the one that brought you!!! Lots of luck but we love that TRUCK
I suggest doing a true street class on Rocky Mountain Raceweek if ever possible in the future. Think yall would have a good time.
I'm very excited to see this build progress! Definitely big block and I also agree 1 solid color
Sick man, great find, can't wait to cheer you on!
Congrats on the new car and gold with a black top would look really good. I'm sure you can find a gently used aluminum big block for sale thats complete for way less then it would cost to build one new. Can't wait to see what you do with it
That car is going to be badass, can't wait to see it finished !!!
You make me jealous, my 72 ss is nowhere near finished . Another great reason to watch the channel. Best of luck 👍
Love the content..... go BIG 💪BLOCK..great opportunity to evolve. Always a fan!!!✌️🙏🏼🇺🇸
NOVACANE!!!! I'm stoked to see this build!
The way you an ur dad built an ran that little s10, wow I can't wait 4, y'all 2, put a big an nasty big block in it. Congratulations on this car an build. Good luck, oh paint it battle ship grey
So glad u said big block!!! Go big my brother! Cant wait for the updates on it
Looks like a very good start to a nice piece 👍👍👍👍
Looks killer Kid! Can't wait to see it in action!
It's cool you got a car with some history. That's a badass Nova bud. Black and gold sounds sweet also no matter what you put in it
Great episode man keep it up!
Really happy to see you building a Nova brother. 👍 I started my racing career at 16 in a 72 Rally Nova. It's where the "Parkway Racer" was born. My advice is go big block, I can see it's what you really want to do. Any other decisions will make you unhappy, trust me.
Been waiting Billy for this for over a year now this car will level the playing field with the other guys that u have been racing last year or so and color on the RC car wld look bad ass and u r a wheel man billy drive your ass off good luck on the rest of build
Cant wait to see where you go with this one Billy. And I agree an aluminum BBC would be badass if you wanna spend that kind of money. either way I'm sure this things gonna fly.
Big block is going to have a lot more torque. More difficult to hookup especially on street! Gotta get traction , spinning ain't winning! Love the car it's just Badass! Gold with black top is gonna look sweet! Great job guys!! Thanks!
Let’s gooooooooo. Pretty stoked to see this thing
Congratulations brother cant wait to see the progress
Epic recap man gotta love a car with a history especially a race car. Can't wait to see what's in store
Let's get it build it I want to see how fast it go good luck guys watch channel and time keep up the good work makes my day better when I see you guys doing something
Yes! I love 4th gen novas! Excited to see this!
there is an old saying Billy , I wish I have done it the way I wanted to ,
I think you understand , I don't have to tell you what engine to put in your Nova , You know what to do,
It's time for you to come up and you deserve it ,
be safe
Quite weekend missed watching one of my favourite channels..good start to the week.giddy up
Just got through watching Big Bill's video 9 months from this one. The Nova is gonna be a contender
i like how he talk about 2K HP like its peanut butter XD
There is no replacement for displacement . If you can swing it go with a big block . As far as paint take 2 of your favorite colors and run with it . Before vinyl tops they would paint a light color from the sail panel upon the roof . So if you went black & gold . Deck lid quarters doors fenders hood window pillers would be black sail panels roof would be gold .
Billy put a 481 X in that Nova.If you can find one . Cause they are big$$ for a new one . Even used they're crazy money . Whatever you do good luck kid . We have faith in ya.
THIS IS A VERY SMART & SAFE CHOICE BOYS! Glad to see you make the decision to keep the truck a streeter & make this a 2000hp BIG MONEY MAKER! 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
Cool car ,,, can’t wait to see what u do with her. Dream build right there 👍
Congratulations on the nova, i like the idea just wait and do the big block when you can. Makes more sense less work to get more power. Like you said you wont have to twist it up to make big power.
Some advice i am sure your old man will agree with. Build what you want the 1st time even if it takes a little longer. If you want a big block then get one. We build race quads for my son.....and i build them once so i dont have to keep changing stuff
Yessss sirrr !!! My boy stepping it up 🔥
I think a big block is perfect like a 540 ci with aluminum rods twin 88mm turbo would be a super sweet build
Going to be a sweet race car. Great start. Stay healthy and safe.
A big block gets my vote!!! Possibly a big bore, short stroke setup with some SR20 cylinder heads (minimum 4.600 bore required for those heads). That car is gonna be a beast once again either way. Good luck on the build guys!!! #SRCNation
Lucky man!!! She is a beauty!!! Myself, I want a stroker 406 but, that is for a specific reason (sentimental reasons!) But, yeah! Big block!!! I like black & silver with hints of blue
100 percent big block. More durable more power to work with especially once you go big tire. One and done. And love the idea of the color combo as well. Good luck with the build.
