What a huge change of attitude.
Nothing upsets me more than when a person implies that Bill or his family is riding coat tails or using Billy. Like what? We are a tight family, Bill has been lining the boys up and building engines with them starting with Junior dragsters at like 9 years old! Anyone who could say that doesn’t understand a father/son relationship team. Just because Bill branched out and started a companion channel to go into tech/teaching/family stuff - please don’t ever call that riding coat tails or using our kids. It’s our daily life, we just decide to show it all now in hopes Bill could do a little less excavation and more traveling to race. If you don’t have that kind of family team, please don’t bash those who do.

Both are human caused. Both cause big issues. No re runs, what ever happens, happens. Go home and learn from your mistakes and get better
@@everybodysnowboards51 at the end of the day they AGREED to re run, that means they both felt it was worth re running. A mechanical issue like your trans brake not holding is something I would run someone back for, not over forgetting to put fuel in the car.
I know a lot of people like myself watch this channel cause of great racing and editing of racing video's.
Well what really hooked me was the fact the entire family is involved and you get a lot of personal off track footage also. Which I think is awesome..plus some of the short video's are great and very well put together.
Your not going to make everyone happy and people will hate on / envy on things they do. That's just the facts. Keep doing what's in your heart and having fun. I know a lot of people like myself enjoy watching it....

Yeah that was extremely chicken shit especially to Billy. Like Billy was gonna say “Yeah you obviously hate my dad but I’m glad you’re cool with me”. That dude made a total and complete ass of himself for the whole world to see. I don’t know anyone that’s going to give a dude a rerun after he just got done talking crap to his dad and the dude kept at it for apparently hours after that. It should be an automatic ban to aggressively confront someone after a race especially when you lost.
@@strangefruit8776 Never mind a rerun, Eddie will be lucky to get a race at all once people see the two videos. My money says there are more examples of Eddie being a punk too, give it a few months for them to rise to the surface.
My personal opinion on the deal is that Eddie needs a proper ass kicking the next time he pulls some shady crap. Nothing breaks a grifter like a good asswhuppin.

I'm glad you guys have the truck back up and competing. I know it's been a hard road to recovery since the old engine blew, the struggle's been real but you guys never gave up. Just focus on the race and getting down the track consistently and safely, the wins will come. I look forward to seeing Tommy's truck going back together too.

I've always wanted to get into drag racing but never been able to get my foot in the door and know Noone who does it lol so u put it off as just a hope or dream, now I'm 38 and feel like I'm to old to even start actually getting into it 😑 my advice to people younger then me don't put it off till later just do it or else you'll regret the years wasted u could've been enjoying it
Key difference between situations. Billy lost and didnt ask for a re-run. He was offered it. Other dude lost and asked for a re-run and was denied it. The loser doesn’t get to decide if they’re honored one. Whether they had a genuine issue or not

How in the hell did he make it back on no gas? Especially stopping to talk with Billy and his family then starting it up and driving it back to his pit area? Eddie lied period.

I was doing the announcing last night and I never once call that a grudge race and I hate that it was said that I did I know I did not get everything right but I tried to make sure I got the most important things right this was the largest event that I ever participated in and up until the drama I feel like it was a really good time. I hate the way it ended and I hope we can do it again next month with a much smoother platform and much less drama

Next time go over the rules and enforce them no re runs you break the rules you loose next pair up and keep the event going. All this could have been avoided if the star struck driver from de S10 kept his mouth shut and invited Billy and his family to dinner or something like that to repay the favor. Most importantly Billy and Bill hell of a way to keep your cool and not let it escalate into an all out brawl. You guys handled it very professionally (yes some words were used in front of woman and children that shouldn’t have) but in the heat of the moment it happens. Personally as soon as he would have got loud with my mom or dad he would have been picking himself up off the pavement. You don’t disrespect as man and his wife in their pit period.
You guys are hands down some of the most honest,fair and respectful people I have ever seen when it comes to racing. You guys are very dedicated to your program and it shows, races are won in the shop everyone knows that and you guys put your time in that’s why your fast everywhere you go. I wouldn’t let it get you down or even bother you, you guys did absolutely nothing wrong you came prepared and they didn’t.

Yeah, I am far from the sharpest knife in the drawer, but how could he say he didn't put fuel in the car, but he was able to drive back to the pits, and then start up the car and drive back to his pit? Update: I found Michael McCoy's YT channel (With the help of the posted link below). Its been a while since he posted a video. However hopefully that changes. Let's all go subscribe to his channel and show the man some ❤❤❤ That these guys deserve. Because unlike some douche nozzles (No names pls) These are good dudes.
Here's what I saw. Dude in the s10 WANTED a rerun. He thought he had a chance, and thought that a funky wire wasn't the way he wanted to win. He brought his case to the race official AND Billy at the line. By MUTUAL agreement the race was rerun.
Nova dude lost his race either by shutting down just past the 330 accidentally, OR ran out of fuel. Either way, that is drive/team failure. Then he decides to drive his car into Billy's pit space, start talking smack, and throw insults around. Even tried to use physical intimidation. That isn't really being a class act, no matter how disappointed he may have been.
In the end, his antics gets the whole damn thing shut down. Good job.
....Bill and family. I thank you for telling the story. Keep racing, keep looking out for others, and keep hanging together. I'll keep watching.

I would like you and your dad to know how much I truly appreciate you,your family,your channels and most of all not editing out this $hit attitude racer ,along with showing your struggles at time in the shop and home life . I'm right at the same age as your dad and i can honestly say I've dealt with crap like that at the track before and its made me rethink ever wanting to go back . Just know his a$s has gotta be chapped knowing he lost that race because of his own doings.

Mom Hoskinson, and Bill. Dad did his duty as a father and stood up for his son when he " Dad" knew the opponent was in the wrong. I'm not a drag racer, but I've raced quads for years, its the pits fault your tank wasn't full of fuel. There is checklists that you go thru before you head to the gate. Their fault, their problem. Shit happens! Its all part of it. I watch both Bills and Billies channel. I have learned more about motors since Bill started the garage channel then i knew before. I know I'm not the only one. No doubt the sump is most time the lowest point in the tank/ fuel cell if it's out of fuel it's empty.
Even if that's the case, it still doesn't absolve him from neglecting to put enough fuel in his car to get down the track, and the Trumper tantrum he threw after that.

This! As a crew member on a fuel car I say this. Each time that racecar makes its way to the line it has to be 100 percent. There are no do overs. There are no second chances. Treat each and every pass like loosing the race depends on it. Before that race car even leaves the shop go over everything, every single piece, part, item that it takes to make a clean, fast pass. Then after each round go over everything again. None of this parking the car letting it cool down and filling up the fuel and going for another run. Go over every single piece. Obviously there are things that will break or wear out. find them! It is not a bad idea to put new spark plug in after each pass. Yes, you will go through a shit ton of plugs but which is the alternative? Just treat each and every pass like there will be no re run. If this were me in this situation, I would have loaded it up and went home. regardless who asked me to rerun it. It is best to save face over a loss than get into an issue with other racers over it. Just my .02. Get em next time. Remember, go over everything after each pass. Get em!

This brings back memories of 80's & 90's . When track owners invented buy backs for 1st round losers, then it was 2nd round losers . I was OK with consolation race . That was all 1st & 2nd round losers , race each other. I hated buy-backs in the normal race.
