- "Our Dodo, as we lovingly nicknamed her, always had a smile on her face. She never failed to make us all feel good and we will miss her." - Tommy Cole
I plan on making more of these little tribute videos for some of the other mouseketeers that could be posted around their birthdays.
Song: One Bad Apple - The Osmonds - Zábava
My absolute favourite. Very pretty and very talented. And English!!
She was truly a lovable young lady. I adored her upbeat, always happy personality.
All those kids were talented. Doesn't seem right I have out lived her.
Now I'm wondering if it was the Mouseketeers that helped me appreciate turtlenecks. I love those when the weather turns cold.
I'm so grateful to have met her twice I. 2015. Once at d23 & 2nd at Disney museum. She told me really funny story about how when she & Annette were kids they pulled prank on Tommy by snatching 1 of his cookies & laughing in his face 😜
Thanks for posting this. Doreen was my favorite. It made me sad when I found out she died.
This is such a lovely tribute! Extremely well done!
I saw her in Vietnam in 1968 entertaining for us troops at a small enlisted men's club. She picked out a single soldier and kissed him(on the lips) at the end of her singing. She was so sweet and kind to all she entertained and we were happy to have her. Bless her sole and may she rest in peace.
Thats amazing thanks for sharing some unknown history here!🙌
Thank you for this lovely tribute. I was so sad to hear of her passing for back in late 50s /early 60s living in Australia, when I was 12-14, I thought Doreen to be the prettiest girl I had seen on television and greatly admired her for all those impressionable and wonderful years when she appeared on Australian television.
Annette named me her first boyfriend, gave her that first kiss and was quoted by saying, "I fell for him like a ton of BRICKS". In early 1955 she did NOT say that to me due to the era and kids [I turned 12 in late May, she 13 TEENAGER in October, 1955, but I read it in my early FORTIES in her1985 auto biography "A Dream IS A Wish Your Heart Makes". Later in the 1960s the only two Mouse ladies I dated were the late DOREEN and CHERYL. I once had a wild clubbing night with both of these lades who are, unfortunately, no longer with us. It was SWELL to be remembered over 30 years later. Mouseketeer Lonnie Burr.
Such a cute girl and crazy talented!
This is the osmonds best song besides lazy river
i think Walt Disney should have kept Doreen under contract after the end of the MMC... she was a talent and a charm...and i might as well say it.. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
She did not have Disney appearances the moment she posted nude in a magazine with Mouse ears and did it again for the second time. But compared to Annette she toured the world more. RIP
Doreen your right was Beautiful and watch the different skits she is in she had the most spunk!! Only wish there were more on line! R.I.P. MsTracey!
@@michaelmorgan9824 She wasn't that innocent; she later on in the 1970's exposed her genitals posing naked in Gallery magazine.
Why was THIS particular song chosen for this tribute?
She was my favorite too, and i still want to know why in the 1980 reunion she was'nt with the original 9 mouseketeers, she was one of the 9 originals, so why was that woman sherry in her place.
She died 2 days before my 13th bday :(
Whats the ep where she's with the queen's gaurd?
