Enjoyed this compilation, wish there were more! I was 5 when MMC began. I remembered Annette more than anyone, but now thanks to CZcams videos I've found I like Doreen a lot. She is cute, fun and talented in many ways, and seems to do it all effortlessly. There was a lot of talent in the whole crew but she is a favorite for me.

Always felt she was the most talented of the whole Mouseketeer crew. Annette's looks got more attention, Darlene's singing was stronger, Karen's diminutive nature took so many in and Sharon got featured in many more dance segments. But Doreen's performances always had something "more" and made her stand out among the rest. RIP Doreen.

I saw her in Vietnam in 1968 entertaining for us troops at a small enlisted men's club. She picked out a single soldier and kissed him(on the lips) at the end of her singing. She was so sweet and kind to all she entertained and we were happy to have her. Bless her sole and may she rest in peace.

Doreen was indeed a very appealing Mousketeer and if I'd been in her shoes, during the banjo joe number, I would also have gone after Dennis in a heartbeat!

Doreen was great but lacked the ethnic uniqueness of Annette or the vocal ability of Darlene. She was the third string among the ladies it seems but always a delight.

I always liked her signature bangs. She was definitely cute. Even then I noticed her. True, though, Anette captured every middle class American boy.

I'm curious as to how you managed to get the beginning segment colorized. Whether you did or not, don't know. Couldn't help but notice though.
