Can you imagine a childrens
Program on tv today featuring
A.song.dedicated to our
Heavenly father
And giving thanks for all
We have?
God is not relevant anymore
Back in the 50s we took it
All for granted
How could we.foresee the
Change in our society
I'm so glad that I did live and
Take part in that era
God bless you, Doreen.
I had a feeling that Jimmy Dodd[rip] wrote the last song.....,,Darlene sung it beautifully.........What a great man Jimmy was..
Such a Great influence on the children.
Beautiful song written my Jimmie Dodd so amazing..Darlene did a beautiful job singing it ,,,she had amazing talent,,,,
Darlene my favorite mouseketeer of all God bless her trouble with the law I hope she's over with getting in trouble with the law love you darling Darlene
i like what the were wearing =3
It's interesting how musically the show was more of a reflection of these kids parents generation than the mid to late fifties. This could just as well be a clip from a 1942 musical short then anything contemporary.
Hihi the check-in in miami FL area board walk pier surf side, sinny isles. Goid too see. Nice memory's. Bests and great day.
Bobby was a really talented dancer! He still is!
Well, Bobby must be really good at dancing if he's managed to keep his talent all this time! Maybe I should hire him as my personal dance coach!
Thank you for your comment! I completely agree with you, Bobby is an incredibly talented dancer. His skills are truly impressive and he always manages to captivate his audience with his grace and precision. I'm glad you enjoyed watching him dance and I hope you continue to appreciate his talent in the future.czcams.com/video/P8tWI9ryw8s/video.html
czcams.com/video/J1ZRWsbyAOwA/video.htmlbsolutely! Bobby is indeed an incredibly talented dancer. His skills are truly remarkable and it's wonderful to see how he continues to shine in the world of dance. His dedication and passion are evident in every move he makes. It's no surprise that he has garnered such a strong following and admiration from fans all over. Keep up the amazing work, Bobby!
RIP Larry Larsen.
After reading everything about Walt Disney (who is my idol and hero) favoring Annette over Darlene ( who actually had talent) i feel betrayed
So amazing such talent in one ☝️ video💓
Mr Foley was Matt Foley's dad who lives in van down by the river.
Lamplighters----Wow!
My name is Bonnie Lou Kearney!!😂
Darlene was the one who should have emerged as the break-out star. She had all the talent and personality. But Annette, who couldn't sing a lick and could barely carry a tune, had the hit record with Tall Paul. And she obviously had some powerful people behind her putting her in the best serials etc. Darlene just didn't get the breaks. But nursing is a noble profession, I admire her for doing that. Still, I wish her talent had gotten its due. I think these CZcams videos are finally giving her the recognition she deserves.
720Lizzy After reading everything about Walt Disney (who is my idol and hero) favoring Annette over Darlene ( who actually had talent) i feel betrayed
720Lizzy it wasn't Annette's fault. She had on-screen charm which caused viewers to like her more and more everyday. Annette actually admitted that she shouldn't have been a singer in the first place. As for Darlene, Disney's manipulation of her career so as not to compete with Annette's was actually dead-wrong. Annette had nothing to do with it. She had always been humble.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome
So cute!
I like this!!!
❤
Loved the MMC!!

We always Loved playing Hop Scotch.....we should have added the Hop. We never had weight problems. We were always playing.
The early MMC is fond of playing kids songs. They are so different from Britney's time.
I had a pair of those mouse ears. I wore them on my first date. My date thought at 16, I may have been, a bit old to keep wearing them! My mom suggested that I leave them at home while on my honeymoon, when I was 25.
Darlene was very talented. It's a shame her show business career didn't go much past the Mickey Mouse Club.
I bit of both i imagine. She wasn't unique enough to stand out and the lack of demand for her talents induced cynicism and anonymity ensued. She became a nurse and that was the worst thing of all. She had to take out those dirty chamber pots and wipe the shit away. Darlene must have thought '' what the fuck happened to me? ''.
cricketrecords one of the problem with Darlene was her on-screen energetic persona didn't translate to her pictures. After being absent for a while due to sickness, she came back with a shock that Annette was now top girl. The damage caused by her absence turned out to be irreversible with Disney favoring Annette above everyone else.

Chris Banner Next time you are sick,YOU HAD BETTER BE GLAD TO HAVE A NURSE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU. Other wise you are going to be in deep shit. I am the daughter of a nurse and a granddaughter of one. NURSES BUST THEIR ASSES TO TAKE CARE OF IDIOTS LIKE YOU.
I second your sentiment. Miss Gillespie did not have the show business luck that Miss Funicello had, but Miss Gillespie became part of a revered profession. Go , Nurses.
Asking Darlene if she was being a good girl. 😃. What if she wasn't?
Thanks for reminding me of the younger years. I watced the Mickey Mouse Club all the time.
