Man! Shawn you and your guest have always express your experiences of active duty of war, have me captivated and emotional of the thing you guys experienced and went through! I am outside looking into the mindset of men of war and the after effect that they bring back to their family and what it does to a war vet! Knows they have to try and come home and get back to business as usual! The fight to get out of war mode mindset and transition back into civilian society and operate as if what you experienced didn't happen but it did and the fight to try and get back to that person you use to be! But deep inside you know you will not be that same guy again! My highest respect for all military including you and your guest that has protected this country at all cost! Including my uncle who was in Vietnam who never talk about what happen over there in Vietnam , he just say he came back different! Thanks 🙏

Eddie and other tier 1 guys only scary when they have a gun. 1 v 1 street fight no weapons not scary. On a past video eddie talks about getting beaten up by a 16 year old MMA fighter at a civilian GYM in Europe while he was still in DEVGRU. They not highly trained martial artists but gods with a gun. Since be retired Eddie has more time to train in MMA. He more dangerous in a street fight now than when he served in military.
Put Tim Kennedy vs that 16 year old see what happens. See your example is meaningless.

For us unenlightened, what are the parameters (Mission statement) of Green Team?
So there isn't really a 'mission statement' for green team.
The naval special warfare command breaks down into different squadrons, with each squadron having different teams. Ans then there is Naval Special Warfare Development Group, commonly known as DEVGRU or SEAL team 6.
Once a member successfully passes SQT (seal qualification training) and earn their trident, they get posted to a team. They learn the basics in SQT, but that doesn't really qualify one to be a SEAL...there is a ton of on the job training, very much like an apprenticeship model.
Anyways...Green Team is a training pipeline/holding unit for already qualified SEAL's that are trying out for DEVGRU. DEVGRU selects it's members from Green Team primarily.
There is no official mission statement of sorts - it doesn't have a unique operational capability within the SEAL community (Although DEVGRU obviously does - they are the Tier 1 team among SEAL teams)

I thought it was MARSOC that got temporarily kicked out of Afghanistan?
I was there off & on between 2006 and 2010, and I had heard MARSOC had been quietly removed shortly after their debut operation. (Op went sideways, they got blamed, etc etc)
They were kicked out of a city, not country

fact, he has protection at hand at all times. Im a great granny and for many reasons for 5 years I felt compelled to learn , at least which projectiles go into which device, so I never again have to use a deer r1fle as a baseball bat as home invader came through my rural ranch home , then the bedroom door, where it was just me and 3 toddlers.
(the cobblers children are always barefoot).
Anyway, looking at your channel, to know that true good guys exist outside my sons ,grandsons , great,gsons, is giving me a glimmer of hope for the USA, mostly for those that love God above all else.
I look at our newest great grandson and promise him that he will know freedom to create his best life , as my heart breaks , as I ask the Lord, how am I going to keep that promise in a world that is so evil ?
