I Show case ALL penny sleeves; tobacco cards, 1948-1952 Bowman Cards, 1952-1956 Topps Vintage Cards, and Regular Standard Baseball Cards.. Hope this video is informative.. TOOTLES!

Stock up my dude, and protect those cards in those binder pages!
Great deal!!!
That's pretty cool to see the difference in these Mikey..🤔 I always like to know how the cards fit into the sleeves before buying but good thing for me is that BCW Factory is in my town so makes it much easier..😜😂 Thanks for sharing info..😍 Take care..👍💕🔥👊
nice, do you buy directly from BCW??? you know whats funny, PSA is 20 minutes away from me, but they dont accept walk in's...................... TOTAL GARBAGE! lol..
@@geezmikey Yes I go in the office at the factory they have conference rooms/waiting room's you go in and write your order out..👍😜 That sucks that you're not able to walk your cards into PSA and get them graded Mikey..😥😠 I'd be pissed the blank off..🤔💩
very informative video. I never knew about the inserts for the smaller pre-war and Bowman cards. Also didn't know about the difference in penny sleeves. Thanks for sharing.
hope it helps next time you purchase some penny sleeves!
Love the mustache man! Great tips on the sleeves

Good stuff Mikey. I've been trying to figure out the standard card size sleeves for a while now. I shoulda just asked Professor Mikey to begin with. 😂
lol funny.. to me i feel like the cards in the binder are more protected.
Excellent video and very helpful!!! Always wondered what people use for the different sizes. I also had no idea there was a difference in card sleeves. Thanks for sharing!
youre welcome! i didnt know there was difference in card sleeves either until i bought some new ones and learned the hard way.
I absolutely love this . On the hunt for penny sleeves .
be careful man!! i just spent $100 on penny sleeves, i hate buying supplies but what can we do, we need them! lol
Great tip on the tobacco sleeves. Going to order a bunch of those.
glad it was very helpful!
if you have any questions regarding anything just let me know, even if it means making a video for you.
@@geezmikey Thanks man!
Thanks for the tips, Mikey. Now that I’m starting to get into binders this is timely info 👊
daang, how fun!! cant wait to see that happend. binder actions are fun!
Watching live with a nice view my friend. God bless.
thank you!
I think I've seen you use semi-rigid's in your pockets...or was I just imagining that? Great video and very informative!!
thabk you, and yes i do use semi rigid in my pockets. ive been doing it a new way, so ill be making a video on that soon!
Mikey, if you liked the old ultra pro sleeves, try the ultra pro PREMIUM CARD SLEEVES they are juuust slightly narrower, and work perfect with ultra pro premium or secure 9 pocket pages. I hope that helps
im def going to buy some, thank you for the recommendation! i have some on my watch list on ebay.
@shawnhuffman7354 Do the top of the penny sleeves stick out of the binder pages?
A++++ video
thank you.
Awesome video Mikey! Seriously, thank you for making this kind of content. I feel like way too many folks are focused on the finance/investment side of things. It's refreshing to watch videos on sports cards that aren't focused on flipping slabs, etc. Please keep doing what you're doing, you are a pillar of this hobby!
thank you for those kind words, although i do think its healthy talkin finances in the hobby, its not always all about that. its about being passion and enjoying our favorite hobby regardless of direction the market follows

Great share Mikey. I have wondered how some people store the oddball sized cards. You showed us a great display on how to do it. Enjoyed and thanks for sharing with us! Hope you had a great 4th!
glad it was helpful!
Any suggestions for the Redman Tobacco cards of the early 50s?
the 4 pocket pages should fit uncut 1955 red man tobacco cards, now i am going to be making a video on 4 pocket pages in a few weeks, i discovered something new with those! well a good brand that i highly recommend now.
Great info. I tried it and I am still not a fan of the penny sleeves in binders. I guess that is why I buy beaters!
everybody collects differently! i just didnt like how the cards move around sometimes in binders although that wasnt why i originally inserted penny sleeves in them
Great informative video. Was looking on internet just last week for info on this subject and got no answers. You covered it all. I agree that the Ultra Pro penny sleeves that you don’t like for pages are great for box storage. Also got a question? I saw in one of your videos you use binder pages for your semi rigid holders. Was wondering what you use? I loved the look of your cards in that binder any help would be appreciated. Love your videos new subscriber as a few days ago.
yes i do use semi rigid holders and pocket pages, im going to make a video on that, as im doing them differently now. "updated version" you can say. and welcome, hope you have some fun with us on the channel!
@@geezmikey yes sir! Your information and cards are 🔥🔥
I bought the Walmart Ultra pro pages. Throw my money away. I use Ultra and BCW tobacco pages, but BCW are a tad short and cards stick out. Not good. Not sure what penny sleeves COMC used last time, but the cards were hard to get out and plastic stuck a bit.
I have the Bowman insert sleeves as well. They look great. My only issue are the horizontal cards in 50 Bowman. You have to put them in sideways from my experiences. How have you handled this?
honestly, diff photo variation cards do bug me. however, theres not much we can do about that. the only thing i suggest would be a regular penny sleeve but it may be alittle to big for it and move around. i would just leave it.
I have UP silver series pages and cards slip out.
ohhh im not a fan of the silver series, i like the platinum series.. silver series the pages feel cheap, and the cards feel like they warp.
@geezmikey I have some cards still in pages from the 80's and their in tight and don't slip. You can see the difference in quality.
I just put together a 1952 Topps reprint set and I just got some generic 9 pocket sleeves on Amazon and did not penny sleeve the cards does it make a difference and should I eventually upgrade the 9 pocket sleeves and penny sleeve the cards
honestly, on a reprint set, i wouldnt go through yhe trouble of that. i would only penny sleeve the cards you feel are your heavy hitters wether its rookie cards, rookie cups, relics, autos, vintage etc etc what ever cards you feel gives your collection "value"
@@geezmikey thanks for the advice. Love the videos keep the great content flowing 👍
Hi Mikey!... Don´t you use semi-rigid also in your binders?
yes i do, ill be making a separate video on that. i was going to add it to this one but, the video became to long.
@@geezmikey I will be waiting for this video =)
Should just flip the 1948 sleeves (insert the card the other way).
yeah i can try that! going to see how that looks.
For standard sized cards, may I suggest one of two different options? Ultra Pro Premium Card Sleeves or even better Ultra Pro Platinum Card Sleeves. Both cost a bit more, especially the Platinum. But both are exact size and there is no slack or wrinkling as you mentioned in the video. The Platinum are the same thickness and clarity of the Platinum pages you are using. Just snip a tiny slit at the top of one side and the cards will slide right in with little chance to nick a corner. Cards in the Platinum are snug, but they fit great and work perfectly in the sleeves. You have to be careful putting the cards in and if needed, blow into them a bit to get some air to help them slide to the bottom. But once you have them in, you'll love how they fit and how they look in your sleeves, promise! Try a pack and let me know what you think. I think you'll love them.
I had the same problems you had with the newer Ultra Pro sleeves "wrinkling" and tried these. They make my high end 1975 set look gorgeous!
ultrapro.com/collections/card-sleeves/products/platinum-series-card-protector-sleeves-for-standard-trading-cards?variant=40164645109838
ohhhhhhhhhhhh alright, im def going to try a pack of these and see how they come out. thanks!
@geezmikey I think you'll like them, just take it slow sliding the card in, and if it gets tight, blow into it a little just to give it some separation. I have removed cards a few months later and had no issues getting them out or back in.
@@VintageBaseballCorner Good info, I personally buy Ultra Pro side loading pages as I know my cards are better protected than standard. Although, I was using BCW sleeves as they fit. I too will try these.
