Wonderful encouragement, Joy. We all need to be reminded to be content with having enough instead of discontent with not having a whole bunch of stuff we don't need. There is such a big difference between "need" and "want", and we tend to confuse the two, to our detriment. Having enough is enough. Anything extra is a huge bonus.

Love this video. A mentor friend of mine told me "when is good enough, good enough"? It's a good thought when applied to finances and things. Most of us definitely have "enough".
I absolutely feel called to live like this but my husband doesn't and it's frustrating. We are struggling to cover all the bills with both of our incomes (I work from home coaching ladies) and I want so badly to get our monthly expenses and needs to be below what he makes. It's hard....gotta keep praying and trusting God with this one.

This has been very encouraging! I have been really wanting to be more content and to be more minimal. It has been so hard not buying new clothes when mine feel raggedy. But I have clothes, I have food, I have a home and can pay bills and enjoy some indulgences. I'm blessed. When I want a new shirt I have been telling myself to make due and use what I have as best as I can. Thank you for this lovely message. It just confirms my thoughts and the way the Lord is leading me in this season.💕
