The best bit of advice I was given is regularly reward yourself for consistency! Every week or every month you stay the course ( and Iâve no doubt youâll smash it) buy yourself a pamper treat or just something nice as a reward x
Try a scoop of vanilla protein, half a frozen banana, 3 frozen strawberries and 200ml of liquid (I love dairy or oat milk). It tastes legit like McDonald's strawberry shake đ you will love it, I promise. Just make sure the fruits are frozen!

Can see the difference in your skin ..... now ..... donât know if thatâs down to the micro-needling, the water (cleansing) or the cardio (more oxygen) but itâs definitely noticeable.

Yay! Glad to see that you're getting along well with this challenge! One tip if you're still having to pee all the time is to drink less water at one time but instead drink a little bit but more often. I think it's something about the body not being to absorb a large quantity of water all at once so it makes you pee out the rest. I found that when I've got good water drinking habits (always having my bottle with me and sometimes even putting a reminder on my phone or watch every 15 or 30 minutes to take a drink) the 'peeing ALL the time' stops and I feel much more hydrated overall. Yep and also pee our electrolytes too ! Peeing more isnât always a good thing , need balance . Water / proper black salt and vitamin C = banging energy too !

Iâm currently watching your video on my tv but I had to come on my phone to comment. Iâm also on a health/better me journey and I wanted to tell you I think your food choices were really healthy and I like that you prioritize protein without getting rid of fat and carbs! First of all avocado toast on white bread is always better than no avocado toast! Period! đ I know weâre full of doubts when we start a health journey and all of the informations online say the opposite of each other but girl you really did good! Without researching stuff for months I wouldnât have been able to make the same good decisions! I like your attitude! Youâve got a new subscriber! â€

@@TheSliceOfJess Iâve only noticed now that you replied đ„č Iâve been watching your videos before or after my workouts for the last three weeks and I really like this little routine we have đč another awesome breakfast I like to have when avocados look bad at the grocery store is smoked salmon on a toast (I do half a bagel toasted) with slices of a hard boiled eggs on top. So much protein and it tastes so good in my opinion and it gets you iodine which is good for the thyroid! It really helps me in the winter when avocados taste weird !
Excited for these videos Jess, I'm right here with you trying to get healthier, I would like to lose weight but I've stopped caring what the scale says now and I'm just focusing on health and that's taken a long time for me to get there. I think I might join you on my own version of this challenge once I'm back from my holiday as I'm going away in less than 2 weeks so I think it would be foolish of me to start now lol. If you're struggling with the reading I would suggest something a little less self help-esq but perhaps something with lessons that make you think and then perhaps once you're in the reading habit a bit more you can go back to that book. I just read Jennette McCurdy's book I'm Glad My Mom Died and it was an incredible read and talks about eating disorders and her relationship with food and I found it really thought provoking but it's an excellent non fiction read I would highly recommend it if you think you will be OK with the eating disorder themes! You will still benefit from reading a book like that and you might find you enjoy the process a bit more :) x

Hey Jess well done on your first week. I am starting my day one of BLE. The thing I have come to understand is the body is dumping the toxins in the fat cells into the blood stream and this makes us very tired as the body works to eliminate . Work outs can add another layer so be kind to yourself. You have everything planned and know where you are and that gives you time to have rest when needed too đ
A beef stock cube or stock pot added to the bolognaise makes it taste even better. Great video â€

I recommend the book called the midnight library!! Itâs fiction but feels a bit like self help as loads of really good lessons in it. I am going to join this challenge with you!! Can the working out include a brisk walk?

Good luck with your challenge, I hope it's going well. I'm doing a variation of 75 Soft to suit myself and my goals more.
Also, remember you haven't "failed" unless you completely give up and quit. And even if you give up and quit then maybe this wasn't the right challenge for you and there is a better challenge for you out there, maybe one you have to customize for yourself.
For self-help books rec, I highly recommend "How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organising" by K.C Davis and "Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead" by Brené Brown. Also here is a tip. I enjoy listening to non-fiction books in audiobook form so you can listen to them while you are doing your chores, walking, knitting, etc. The only downside is you can't annotate an audiobook so if there is a good point you want to highlight or note down unless you have a pen and paper with you while you are listening you'll have to pause or try to remember later to jot down the thing you want to remember.

If I try to stick to 1 cheat meal a week, said meal is some 3000 calories. My only goal right now is to stop binging. I've gone 11 days so far on that. I'd like to try 75 days total. Hopefully the habit will be gone by then
I use Turkey mince a lot instead of beef, itâs healthier and cheaper too!

Have Greek yoghurt with honey and fruit , then it has some sweetness. I donât like it without either. Itâs lovely with strawberries, raspberries , kiwi, whatever fruit you fancy really x

Heres a protein shake thats like a liquid butterfingeri i drink it every morning as my first breakfast
1scop isopro gormet chocolate
2 bannas
2 table spoons peanut butter
2 cups milk of choice i do soy
You can add yogurt if you want extra protein

Unpopular opinion atomic habits was just okay, a lot of it was just common sense to me and I already did things like habit stacking. I really struggled to finish that one

I dont get the point of an active rest day if you still have to exercise like yoga or walking, for 75 hard walking counts as exercise. And the whole 'follow a diet' part of 75 hard is just whatever diet you decide to do bc he doesnt specify a diet plan. you could decide ur diet is to cut out sugar 5 days a week and that works the only difference would be the cheat meal and the social drinking. Theres really not a big difference between the 2 programs anyways
I actually think 1 gallon equals 4 liters every day. The water amount + having to take a picture every day is why I will never do 75 hard.

Thankfully you won't have to drink a gallon of water - as that is 4.54 litres. Three litres is manageable.
I think the 1 gallon is in American measurements, which is the same as 3 litres! Couldn't imagine doing 4.54 litres I'd never be off the toilet! đ
@@TheSliceOfJess You're right - an American gallon is less than a UK gallon - works out around 3.78 litres. Not a lot of people know that!
