Waking dreams are real. A waking dream can be as simple as losing your car keys. You then realize you should be more in tune with what is for you is the real key to life. After you have this thought, your car keys magically seem to reappear out of nowhere. That's a waking dream.
I want to add here that my soul travel Experience was very real. I saw things that were built in the material world but several years later. I had traveled through time and space to see these things before they were built. I very much want to experience this again.
Like many ppl on the path of Eckankar I never could have imagined what all is possible, for protection, healing, past life recall, seeing the distant past of the planet, or the future, among other things. My son crossed over or died in 2011 but bc of the HU I’ve been able to meet with him in “heaven” 2 or 3 times a year, which is helpful. And Chanting the sacred word HU everyday has shown me that there is much more to life than the everyday dramas. Soul is eternal & Life always follows death.
Eckankar and the HU, along with my secret word, saved me from a decade long drug problem. 10 months in rehab did nothing for me. The other day I was quite upset about something and decided to go get high. Instead of walking towards the drugstore, I found myself walking away and chanting my secret word quietly. THIS was a miricale. Once the thought of drugs came into my head, I would ALWAYS follow through with it. After my second initiation and my secret word, I no longer crave drugs at all

When I first found a book on Astral Projection I was excited to experience I was more than the body. But when I found an Eckankar book (Keys to Secret Worlds) I found something even better - Soul Travel - which introduced me to far more worlds than the astral (emotional) plane. It also explained the sound I heard within me since I was a child - the Voice of God, called ECK. The Holy Spirit.

That was the book about Eckankar that I found 1st too. It opened a lot of doors for me
I've been having these experiences ever since I was a child but I just wrote them off as dreams. There are other experiences I've had where sleep wasn't evolved. I use to see energy fields in broad daylight multicolored and moving in all directions. As a child I never knew what I was seeing.

What I like about Eckankar is its practical approach that allows for a gradual and prosperous way of Soul Travel. Instead of throwing you out of balance, it brings about balance. Before I came into Eckankar and used the Spiritual Exercises that UNFOLD YOU as SOUL, I use to Astral Project and felt rather unbalanced during the day. More of a Psychic Experience rather than one that brought fourth the Golden Tongue Of Wisdom. The Golden-tongued Wisdom is a blending of inner truths with an outer experience of some kind, some everyday activity that you’re doing.

This was a quick sample of something, but it didn't give me enough information. Yes I had the experience of travel through time and space mini years ago before I ever heard of it I also had an out-of-body experience looking back and seeing my body laying on the couch. When I had these wonderful experiences it was many years ago I particularly enjoyed be soul travel. But I don't know why they started or why they stopped I would love to continue soul traveling at night. It was relaxing wonderful total freedom.
Through practicing ECKANKAR, I have experienced myself as Soul different from my physical body.

I used to go through this for years when I would sleep on my back I never knew it was something it was all natural ..it scares me still but I think it went away there were times where I would relax and be hear a tune but the sleep paralysis would scare me so I would shake to wake up
My experience exactly. 30 years of dreading something I seemed to have no control over. As a teenager it was terrifying because you couldn't just look this up...thought for sure I was losing my mind and coming from a REALLY religious household...exacerbated my fear. Paralysis happened over and over nightly...it was so bad I started sleeping during the day. That didn't help. Eventually it began to taper off in my late teens and early 20s. I even had a few years of peace...but it started up again and happens at least once a week...and always when I'm on my back. Only once have I left my body and traveled elsewhere, many times I've lifted out and remained very close to my body, so close that I never put it together...generally, I only go so far as to reach out to my partner. Everytime I panic...I feel like I can't breath freely and I'm just scared. I've only told one person...and now this comment. I'm not excited about it like some people see to be...I never have time to prepare myself. It just happens. Maybe i should embrace it and just let it happen...but it's frightening.
@@Jennifer-qc2tq they say 1/8 people get this so were not the only ones j researched more into if and just have a natural gift i heard if you dont get overwhelmed or frightened you can actually travel as far as outer space but i never felt that just the close to my body feeling and i would shake till i wake up but i dont get it no more ..and it would come out of nowhere but if you sleep on your side or stomach it won't work because our spirits come out through the front of our body i never spoke much about it i always thought it was night terrors but not the obe that was astral projection
You know how I got here? I was doing Solar plexus chakra work, and then my body started jerking as if having spasms, and then all of a sudden I started to have a vision. I usually snap out of it because of fear due to a HORRIBLE experience in the lower astral, but this time I let it play out for about 5-6 seconds, and I couldn't believe it. I wasn't full peripheral, but more like looking through the cardboard you find after using the last of the aluminum foil, pretty strange. I was like the mirror in a Spanish store/bodega, and I was watching ppl talk and walk about. It was similar to an Astral projection as far as the focus, but it was easier; I could have REALLY delved deeper but I was afraid to. I'm going back in, wish me luck!!
sometimes i hear those noises, other times all i feel is like a pull when im out
One day I'll figure out how to soul travel , or just buckle down and actually do the spiritual work , I've had dream experience of flying an other experiences , but not yet had a soul travel experience.

A near perfect religion
Why are all religions so sincere and lacking in humour and fun? Not a troll, I find Eck interesting, but it would be more accessible if it felt less sincere and more down to earth, if you dig.
I can appreciate your observation, and I agree that it's all quite serious. So, maybe HUmor is the way you'll find your path to God. No doubt, there are many opportunities for "fun" in Eck, but the speaker, Harold Klemp, has a focus, which is to help people find answers to pressing questions that we all face, such as, why am I here? what is death or reincarnation about? How can I create more love in my life?... and on and on and on..........yes, they are all deep spiritual topics, and Klemp's style of teaching is story telling, about very "down to earth" stuff. So, being a lover of humor myself, I look for and find it in a variety of other places......TV (Comedy Central), stand up comedians, movies, "late night" hosts, and of course, many youtube channels offer humor.
