I like this sound very much. I've worked with Om, Sa, Ee, and Mmm for many, many years. I have known about Hu for many years. But, I did not appreciate it. Only today have I really heard the sound of Hu and the pleasure of chanting it. Thanks to my painting teacher, Julie. I did not previously appreciate the beautiful sound of Hu and the resonant force of Hu. I really like chanting along with the recording. Thanks.

During the summer of 1967 when I was 15, my family moved from Utah to Virginia. That July we were living in a motel for six weeks while I was experiencing some significant angst about the religion I was baptized in. One afternoon during a light nap, a man dressed in a bright white robe bearing shoulder length blond hair, and piercing blue eyes appeared to me. Initially I thought, "Oh great. Another priest to criticize me!" However, this man assuaged my anxiety. "Jim, don't worry. Relax. Everything will be all right." His presence flooded me with divine love, something I had never experienced until then. For the next three days, I was walking on air unable to fathom what I had experienced. Of course, I never forgot this deeply impressionable experience. Years later after I became an ECKist, I saw a colored illustration of Gopal Das and knew this was the very same being who appeared to me in my hour of trouble. These Adepts are always present because thy are Co-workers with God, serving all life with love and gratitude.

So grateful for this gift of HU..
