This explains why so many Toyota trucks exist in the Middle East. They can literally take anything and keep going.
You are correct. It's the official vehicle of terrorism for a reason.
Literally the reason I bought a Toyota , my best friend had a Corolla and rode that thing till the wheels fell off literally, in a lake đđđ

Awesome
Australians pronounce it as 'High Lux'. We had one for years as an everyday car but we used it off-road and touring. Camping with it was great, can fit so much stuff on it.
We have Toyota Hilux in South Africa too and we also pronounce it "HIGH-LUCKS"
Everywhere but murica it's Hi-Lux. They so weird how they have to say things wrong when it's obviously not Helix đ

Same with a good portion of people buying raptors. Granted, they are comfortable on road, but like 90% of raptor owners, from forums I've seen online, don't take it off road, even though it's built for exactly that. It's crazy. I take mine off road at least once a week. Or at least try to. It's so much fun going off road in it.
Australians listening to Ken and Pewds call it Helix: "it's HIGH LUX!" đ€Łđ€Ł

There is a reason the Hilux is one of the most widely used vehicles in Africa. There is a reason why my mother had hers for almost 300,000 miles. Love both you guys, every man and his dog has these in New Zealand and yes we drive them like that too, great hunting wagon out in the bush, can strap the pig or deer to the bonnet
The Hilux Top Gear episode is a classic, they literally lost it in the ocean then found it the next day and it still worked.
Ken and pewds should watch some clips from that episode of top gear

See, going into this video I was thinking pewdiepie was gonna be annoyed by this but then pick up on the absolute troll that Is WhistlinDiesel. Love to see it.
I see Ellis has moved on from killing zombies to building the craziest of trucks
The Hilux actually has a reputation as the unofficial war zone truck. Almost every paramilitary faction in the Middle East uses them as gun trucks
That explains why they don't sell them in America. Us American Citizens would be unstoppable lol
Yeah, itâs a great truck
And in north africa too. Gaddafi's favourite truck
If Felix doesnât buy a Hilux I will be legitimately disappointed.
Fhilux

You will be disappointed because, not only they are too big for British roads, they are fuel guzzlers and oil prices in the UK is 3 times higher than the US due to Brexit. So it doesn't make economical sense for Pewds to buy any trucks. Fuel prices is one reason why Pewds drove an Austin Mini and a Volvo XC90 T8 Hybrid.

When they dropped the Hilux from a demolished building in Top Gear, the beast was still running. They kept it as a trophy for quite some time. itâs obvious felix isnât a country boy. like 80% of all the boys here (sweden, but anywhere other than big cities), below the age of 20, mods their cars.
It's obvious Felix doesn't leave his house. He often talks about how no one in Europe or UK don't do things, but if he'd go outside those things are everywhere.
I think he was talking more about modding big cars/trucks culture
key word being dudes under 20, especially the ones with the warning signs on the back
Boys, maybe. But not the culture as a whole which is his point.
It's different in America as they do it way more often. Of course you see modded cars sometimes but not as often as America and also not on their level as many things aren't even allowed in Europe.
They have whole communities and put thousands of dollars into modding, little boys can't even afford that
