there was this one time when i was about 6 years old, I woke up and it was around 1am and I looked out of the window and there was a figure almost like just a head with bright white eyes and a hand with long claws gripping onto the window. Almost like someone looking through the window and this scared me so bad that i still remember it to this day!

i had one experience a few years back, but never had anything like it again that i couldn't explain away with my constantly changing medication or paranoia. if i remember right, i had pretty recently moved in with my dad because i hated living with my mom and her then-husband; this new place was a townhouse, and i'd end up living there for four and a half years after this with no other weird experiences like this.
i think i would've been about nine or ten at the time, and had pretty much entirely gotten over my fear of the dark by then, but i've got to note that i'd still get pretty paranoid when staying up late around this time. i was up late enough that everyone else in the house was asleep already, though i can't remember the exact time, and i was in bed reading some book. i was starting to get tired so i readjusted myself to get more comfortable, and it was at this point that i set my hand down onto something that made my heart stop for a solid few seconds. it was the very distinct shape of another humanoid hand, and it felt like time slowed as the hand was ripped away with the speed of something afraid of being caught, disappearing over the side of my bed.
immediately upon remembering to breathe i balled myself up in the center of my bed (at this point, my bed was placed in the middle of my room, so either side had open space for me to hop off, something i deeply regretted in the moment) and i began yelling for my sister, her husband, my dad, anyone to come into my room, refusing to move or to stop looking at the spot where the hand had been until they all eventually showed up at my door. my sister and her husband looked around the room and under the bed for me despite being skeptical, and of course they found nothing. when they seemed satisfied that i'd be okay and i was calmed down enough, they went back to bed. i slept with my light on that night, and the next day i had my dad go to the store to get me a nightlight.
i forgot about the whole thing when there were no more strange happenings in the next few days, and i hadn't really thought about it again until now, several years later. idk, i never had anything like that happen again, but i remember how scared i was that night. honestly, by the time i left that house, if there ever was anything else there with me, it was probably more freaked out by me than i was of it; i was a psychotic little brat during the years i lived there. who knows though, it's nice to think that maybe something else was influencing me at the time, rather than accepting the fact that everything wrong with me was just me.

I wonder what the reaction would be to, legitimately, spending a month living in a famous, haunted beyond all belief, hotel/bed and breakfast/ etc.. Because it’s a well known fact, amongst actual Paranormal Investigators and the community, that otherworldly things take time to react. Just because you spend two nights in a haunted room, doesn’t mean you get activity. Some people can spend a whole 24 hours in a place and got nothing, while others experience everything. 🤷🏼♀️ Videos and photos can be faked, but experiences are always built in truth.
The youngest place I’ve lived is a 1000 year old town. Why do I not see ghosts in day to day life when thousands of people have died throughout history precisely where I live and work?

I used to get really bad sleep paralysis and some of my worst stories are
- someone pulling me by my ponytail to the edge of the bed
- creepy ghost floating in the corner of my bed while I was "awake" unable to move
- right after falling asleep someone grabbed my throat, held a knife to it and shushed into my ear
- velociraptor pushing my blind open and knocking on my window slowly
Pews mirror had me entertained with all of the "ghosts" that kept popping up. Mufasa made me actually laugh.

To be fair, the human mind is really good at freaking itself out, especially when not fully conscious and awake. So for some people it wouldn't matter how beautiful whatever they're looking at is because their own mind might interpret it in a distorted way. That is pretty much the reason certain people see for example, faces or figures in the darkness, or when they're looking out into a forest, or at an object or art with abstract shapes on/in it.
You guys should watch creepy security footage. It’s a great mix of “spooky stuff” and actual real life creepy people.

It almost always happens to me when my glasses are off & it's dark. I can't look at people's faces because I know they'll look scary.
Used to wake up from hearing a moaning, creacking noise, consistently for about 3 days a week. but whenever i looked around and turned on the light it was gone.. Talked to a psychic friend of mine for shits and giggles and she was going on and on about how i was haunted by my ancestors. That i needed to commune with them to figure out what they wanted. Naturally i got myself a girlfriend, Turned out i woke myself up with my own snoring.

I actually have one of those bionicles and the joints are really stiff so I don’t think the wind or a string could have done that. Also, if it was a string, all the joints in the back and legs would move too, not to mention the fact that bionicles aren’t very stable so it would probably have just fallen over.

I was actually at the place where the lockers and caution sign is. It is a rock climbing center and used to be an old school house. It looks haunted from inside and out, is always cold, and the air is always so thick, like fog, but a little thinner than fog. It really is a place with weird vibes...
