Maria's toxic vibe changed immediately when she ranked last. While Sean's didn't and was still bubbly and humble. Tells a lot, especially when people change their demeanor immediately.
IKR! She is still intelligent, even according to the IQ score, just everyone else in that room had a higher IQ. That's it. Why does she have to be such a sour loser.
Sean is clearly on the right side of their brain!
Her EQ is definitely amongst the lowest in the group as well. The way she acted... damn.
Sean ranked himself last and put Tyler 5th but during the 'interview' alone he said that he thinks that Tyler should have actually been last and i think is coz he noticed how EVERYONE was putting Tyler 6th and he didn't wanna put Tyler down even more...
That tells us that in the grand scheme of thing we are nothing but a speck of dust..................just be humble and keep on learning.

They didn't even ask what Tyler does in the Marines. He's a CBRN defense specialist, it stands for (Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence), and he scored a 94 on the ASVAB. (Doesn’t mean 94% in the traditional sense. It’s a percentile score, meaning he did better than 94% of people).
So basically hes really smart and they were too dumb to realise😂
OMG thank you for explaining that, I am from another country and did not know what CBRN and ASVAB score of 94% meant (94th percentile is insane), that would have been the first thing I would have asked him in that round, not sure if the other candidates did and if it was just not shown in the final cut, but could also be that certain candidates did not ask to not appear uneducated especially in front of a youngster with a perceived lower IQ.
On another note, I am also baffled that Kaylee was ranked so low, software developers know their shit, no matter the education or gender, they have to be very logic which is a big part of IQ tests
@@jannicktelintum8504 Or too arrogant.
Kaylee is insanely intelligent, however she constantly has to do things in her life that help on iq tests and had multiple times where she did iq tests she even acknowledged that fact. The truth is IQ tests are something you can practice for and be better at until a certain point where your brain caps out on every bit of information you can retain, for tyler getting 131 on his first IQ test and no college education or any degree or formal practice he is smarter than her. His potential is higher and his iq is most likely closer if not the same as the guy who ranked 1st in the video with even 1 - 2 weeks of studying@@Zedernstaub

Don't get me wrong, that's not unskilled and requires a lot but she was deceptive about it and let it slip later.
As a guy who took the ASVAB test, I can confirm that Tyler scoring a 94 is absolutely insane.

@@Mr.Dealor94 meant he is above 94% people that took ASVAB test, basically top 6%
@@Mr.Dealor94 is the percentile score, so by definition, the average would be 50th percentile or 50%
I've looked into this before, but asking someone in military is a better source. What impact does having a high ASVAB have on your entry into the military? I know it opens new entry roles, but does it ever matter beyond that? Any salary impact?
Relatedly if someone had a very high score in ASVAB what roles would you recommend?
you have a better chance to get a guaranteed job when you enlist in the miltary with a higher score. I had a 97 in the mechanical portion and enlisted as a pneudraulic systems specialist. I already had a AA degree and an airframe and powerplant license when I enlisted. Once I completed basic I was ranked as an airman first class E-3, so there is a small pay/rank increase....btw the USAF is generally the worst branch for advancing in rank. My ex-wife is a DVM, so she is quite intelligent in some areas that I lack and my son is probably top 1/2 percentile, but more importantly, a better student than I was.@@das6109
For anyone who’s wondering Tyler is very intelligent. The issue is he didn’t embellish his job. He’s in CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) It’s one of the most important roles in the military and takes a highly intelligent person to get into the job. It’s one of the most vital roles in national defence and terrorist attack response. Not to mention 94 on ASVAB is astonishingly impressive. Most get just enough to get a few jobs in the military his earned a level that allows him to go for most roles and responsibilities.

So hilariously true.
Although, EQ is actually VERY important for understanding others and social interaction. IQ and EQ are actually both quite important. Low EQ means you are unable to pick up on social queues, probably have difficulty detecting sarcasm and poor understanding of the emotions of other people. When researching human behavior and even behavioral patterns of other species, EQ is very useful. Because IQ is the enablerer for that as you probably will not say something rude to someone who is really down. Btw she is like 112, in most countries, the average is around 104 - 107. She still has an IQ higher than most people, so what you're saying isn't applicable.
"It's really hard to win an argument against an intelligent person, but impossible to win against an idiot".
I think that's why the smartest guy ranked himself 3rd.
Honestly that's why I think Sean was the most emotionally intelligent. They were well aware of what they have and do while being humble.
Ok Socrates
Red pants girls says she's modest and humble and proceeds to brag about her degree LMAOO
Lol
Pretty sure she was calling the smart Asian guy modest and humble but not 100%
BRRRRRRRRRRR
This shit is so dumb. Emotional intelligence is not as important as actual iq. most of the geniuses in history were introverted hermits. Sucks they just shit on the military dude
@@kboi8667 she was
Are these ppl crazy??? Being in military is like sooooo honorable, I would be proud of myself
I have the lowest self esteem in the office since I'm just a high school graduate and the others have diplomas and degrees. This one girl with a degree especially always bragged about it and always shared anecdotes about how exceptional she was in the class and I would just smile listening to her repetitive brags knowing in the end of the day she's the one who asked me for help the most even with the simplest task like Excel, webpages etc
As soon as red pants started bragging about her accomplishments I just knew she would be last lmao. Serves her right
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO Sure man I don't

maria goes on and on about “EQ” then proceeds to be the most unlikeable person in the room
Best comment ever
True
she should be able to read the room . she clearly doesnt know how people percieve others and she doesnt know how to remain lowkey which was needed to get more "like" points from the viewers . she could learn a thing or two from the guy who ranks first on the IQ test , just my thoughts .
The best example I've come across yet for irony.
She had zero self awareness and was impossibly insufferable... yet was throwing around around that emotional intelligence constantly despite being clueless... I hate her so much
@solo xi I think the military guy was just getting passive aggressive because everyone was ranking him low. Also putting himself 1st wasnt a crazy prediction considering he got 3rd
It’s the hand slapping on the table for me😂😂
I've seen the original video more than 10 times and every time its been a humbling experience. Be grateful to what you have in your life and never ever think you are better than others.
When the woman with the red pants was waving her arms and bragging about herself I was cringing so hard my brain was about to explode
That's when I knew for sure she was last. She was bragging so enthusiastically about stuff that was completely irrelevant to IQ. When actually high IQ people brag, it's usually more matter of fact and dismissive instead of "look at me".
@@LagMasterSam yes I was saying to my husband she is arrogant but not in an i can be arrogant way because i’m so smart versus just being egoistic, which is what she is, sadly
She reminds me of my cousin who can't hold a job but keeps bragging about stuff he knows while we have to endure his nonsense for the rest of dinner
Don't worry, she'll probably be cringing about this for the rest of her life
Ikr she was so nghhhh--I had to pace for five minutes to walk off the cringe and then resume watching the video
“I don’t place a lot of value on the military”

“Test are subjective”
I don’t think she realizes damn near majority of Americans couldn’t enlist in the military if they wanted to
They actually both scored a 131.
Sucks she had to be such a jerk, though.
Stay Swervin’ if they work out, i think the mojority can enlist as infantry. But not more demanding jobs like the marines or navy seals etc.
@@zoroverse8358 also a lot of people are not qualified because of medical history records and how they place on the asvab a five portion test comprising math, reading, science, engineering, and language arts/comprehension, are just the topics they can use any level from elementary level math to college trigonometry same for all subjects
Actually people in the military require a lot of intelligence, as they have to plan missions, form war strategies and make really tough decisions really quickly, also a lot of times their lives depend on whether their plans are successful or not.
It true the fact Tyler didn’t know what IQ tests are or the fact that the 2nd and 1st place both had experience with the IQ tests, I do think had they gotten a chance to study/practice the IQ test in advance it would be the same order with Tyler in 1 or 2 spot instead tho

Lol underrated comment
I mean... getting a PhD isn't really an accomplishment, it's just a measure of wealth to be able to delay getting a job and spend money on school longer. If you can afford that, you can literally be the dumbest person in the room and get a PhD.... as this shows, lololol.

All people pointing out at maria are exactly doing what she did, except she has some accomplishments so she can brag about, and they have nothing so they are hiding behind their laptops.
Reference the Dunning-Krueger effect, Maria’s behavior will make more sense to you.
@@lohengrin4009 It does play a part here but doesn't necessarily or sufficiently makes sense. If Maria got an IQ around 140, would this descriptor still make sense? Is it impossible for this woman to get much better results, given her personality?
Self-awareness is a sign of intelligence, something Maria definitely lacks.

Tylers understanding of IQ made the most sense. The ability to learn new information is mostly constant.
The red pants person kept talking about how her emotional intelligence was so much better but she was so arrogant and obviously doesn’t have very good social skills.

Girl.. cobbling the kits together ain’t nothing.. talk to me when you discover a novel testing method for corporate flunkies to merchandise into a kit.

Yea she assembled the kits like a factory line worker. Also not much to brag about considering how the vast majority of those tests are flawed in some way.
it's actually not a big deal.

this year old video still bring joy to this day
I watch this video times to times, love it, miss daddy doing react
Notice how the military guy kept his cool when others were belittling him.

I’m confused because social medias so quick to correct the man when he does it to the female, but often times it’s never the other way around. It’s actually shameful tbh.
As a Navy Vet, I can tell you that Marine proably heard worse things said to him in the service.
@@danoutlaw0116 He was probably expecting it from a bunch of university graduates, but from doing a degree myself. I could tell you anyone with an above average level of intelligence shouldn't have any difficulty obtaining those degrees as long as they don't get too distracted with partying or playing video games. I'm doing a course which more or less required straight A's to gain entry, but you definitely do not require that if you want to succeed. I found myself questioning how certain people got in more than anything else.
He’s probably used to it
This video is just pure gold
I had a lot of unlearning to do after college. Aside from my major, college was a waste of time and money.
It’s so satisfying to see the final results. I hate the stigma that “college = smart.” It was clear that Maria lacked intelligence by the way she presented herself lol.
Right? Like how dumb can you be, presenting yourself that way, sacrificing that the room liles you, just for a 5 minute ego boost
YO I LOVE YOUR PFP
ye nowadays college is actually getting pretty pointless with all the useless info you learn. Like if you want to have a career in something, why are you forced to take all the other classes completely unrelated to it? its pretty similar in high school.
and since so many people go to college now, the diploma is almost worthless because ya know supply/demand
so your basically going into debt for a crappy education, and you can go into more debt if you want to go to a "prestigious" college that will teach you the exact same stuff as the cheap one.
what I'm trying to say is yes, going to college doesn't necessarily make you smart, it just means you are following the masses.
That's never been the stigma. In today's idiocracy, the stigma is more like, you dropped out of school and you're smart. There are way too many people with their low class philosophy of mind, that hinder people with real intellectual talent from succeeding in the real world.
College = student debt. Harvard = Smart lolz
How Tyler took it like a champ and didn’t once stop smiling while being insulted shows his character and intelligence, what a champ
