You mean adults?
The fact Gordon was totally calm and barely shouting on this episode really saying it much. He's even giving up to see how much delusional they are.
he is not wasting energy when there is no hope
That's pure disappointment. I'm also a hot headed person, but in that situation, I would also choose not to talk
Gordon is extremely passionate about his craft and the reason he screams is because he wants to push people to bring the best out of themselves and to make them better chefs. These people clearly can't be helped and he realized that quickly, so there is no need for yelling.
also I think because if you yell at people like that, it's just fighting fire with fire
nah he was scared they would murder him if he gave them the attitude he usually does
They didn’t want his help…
They wanted his *validation.*
And they didn't get that lmao
underrated

Exactly. You could tell immediately with their interviews that they never wanted his help, they just wanted him to say that their food is good and done right and everyone else is wrong. A lost cause right from the start
@paulohernanndizz3506 which they profites off of immensely

Once Gordon realized they were stealing their waiter's tips that's when Gordon knew what he was dealing with.
non white immigrants do that often, indian restaurants are notorious for it for instance. always ask where your server tips go of its an ethnic restaurant.

You don't know what they pay her hourly... Maybe he pays her well unlike most restaurants, therefore she doesn't need tips...
@@itzlzb6194 then the owners would need to be open to it, so people don't tip (which the owner would steal). you can pay a server hourly, but the customer needs to know where the tip money goes.
I love how she just calls people who are in the restaurant "online bullies"😂

Probably my favorite episode of Kitchen Nightmares ever. It's honestly amazing they were even able to maintain a semi functional business despite being completely delusional and treating their employees like dogshit
*employees and customers 😬
We live in a society* lol
Just people like amy shouldnt go without some help
The business was probably being subsidized. The guy seems like he’s never worked in a restaurant before. He has no concept of what a cohesive kitchen looks like nor does he have control over his own wife (head chef) she’s the end all be all and believes she knows better than the customer who’s eating the food. He invested a million into the business so he must have money but he’s not spending it wisely.
the husband might be doing some shady works and he use the restaurant to do money laundering. maybe that's why they have the money to sustain the business.
if you walk into a restaurant and see Gordon Ramsay, you know it's either gonna be the best food you've ever had, or the worst experience of your life.

This restaurant was in walking distance to my hotel in Scottsdale, so I went with our tour manager Geno. We both got pizzas. There were frozen provolone cheese clumps all over it. Geno is the sweetest dude in the world but he was seething and would have snapped that dude’s neck, so I got him out of there.

Fun fact: for many years after this episode was posted on CZcams on the official Kitchen Nightmares account, Amy herself would scan through all the video comments and angrily reply to posts that were critical of her or her company.
How does one get so narcissistic
@@bobbie605 Born sociopath maybe, who knows. It's fun to go on the original video and read through the comments - her account has since been deleted, but you can occasionally see people replying to her now-removed comments with extreme sass.
Really?
She most likely still does with a different CZcams account and might even see this video. I remember she would comment on videos made about her trying to fight off all the "bullies" and the "haters"! Hallmark of narcissistic people is they CANNOT take ANY criticism so of course she's still upset years later and I'm willing to bet she's lurking. LMAO
My unfortunate dealings with narcissistic people have also taught me that exaggeration and embellishment of the facts comes as naturally as breathing to them... shown here literally in the first 30 seconds when we get introduced to Amy: "It was at a very early age that I discovered I had a REAL TRUE passion and TALENT for anything having to do with the culinary arts." "...Samy invested over a MILLION dollars into this restaurant...". This usually tends to make them master one-uppers.

Look, I think Ramsey knows that there really isn't anything wrong with frozen pastas. Like Felix said, they can taste good, but if a paying customer in a restaurant wanted frozen ravioli, they would have stayed home. The fact that these restaurants cannot grasp this concept is astonishing.
I'm sure it's also got to do with then selling it as homemade as well.
It's more likely the way they were cooked.
A lot of restaurants use frozen food, but they thaw the product overnight, then cook them with techniques, spices, and a dash of caring to it.
In hindsight, what Gordon usually looks for is not professional handmade raviolis, rather restaurants with decent knowledge of basic cookings and how to treat everyone equally right.
@@peternguyen2647 If they prepared frozen ravioli with care at worst he'd likely recommend they take the extra time to handmake them if possible, but I think you're right that it's the attitude about the frozen ravioli (or whatever) that sets him off in KN episodes.
@@treyxntreyxn I used to work as a barista in a small Italian café. We used frozen pastries, baked straight from the freezers, still came out good enough and customers bought it without a single doubt (the best compliment was that a lady bought 20 top of the morning saying that it was for her daughter's family as well)
And yes, in restaurants' environment, your customers are the ones who pay for service, so they always expected to be treated, at the very least, as human beings. This couple in the video here had their minds too far gone to realize that lol.

Another thing that really pissed me off is when Amy decided to send the food runner home because she asked a simple question, does she not understand that table orders are hard to memorize during busy hours? Honestly I would’ve screamed at her if I was Gordon and maybe offered the food runner a recommendation for a different job or something if the sort because as a food runner myself, I know that both her and I don’t deserve to be mistreated like that without probable cause, and even then it usually very unprofessional.
I actually ate here once when I was out in Arizona for college. The first pizza I got was severely undercooked and I sent it back. Sam was a bit pissed about it but the dough was severely raw still so they remade it. We got our second pizza severely undercooked again and we went to pay for the pizza before leaving they had the audacity to charge me for 2 pizzas. Istg these two owners ate entitled, but i hope that girl got a better job that treats her better than those entitled assholes
If they're acting they are freaking brilliant!!!
Seeing calm Ramsey feels like when your parent tells you "I'm not angry with you, I'm just very disappointed in you.."
The way he sat in that chair and just -.- 🤣
It is actually pretty sad when you think that the owners do not see everything wrong with their behaviour and think it is all normal
That's likely because they think the restaurant failing isn't a normal thing that happens to most, and that they haven't found success. They are taking it the wrong way and because of their stress factors such as a whole bunch of debt to pay, so they blame everyone else.
lol they jewish so they are use to getting away with stealing land, culture and lying
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think they are just narcissists, there's no external factors causing this behaviour, they are just at war with everyone else and paint themselves as victims.

Best episode so far
It's common knowledge that most American reality shows are partially scripted and heavily edited out of context, including parts of the newer American kitchen nightmares. However when this episode aired it's scary how you could tell these two were authentic and actually behaved like this in real life. Producers probably knew they stumbled upon a goldmine and didn't have to lift a finger.
I agree with what you're saying here. I've seen quite a lot of American shows that try to push a lot of "drama" from something so small that barely makes any sense. But these two genuinely act like psychopaths. Samy is afraid to tell her wife what people think, and she thinks everyone are out there to get her. The fact Samy didn't give the tips to his waitress and told that one employee to watch his car truly disgusts me. I've met true people like this, and if people can't accept the help which sometimes seems wrong to them then they shouldn't ask it in the first place.
And if you find their online posts and comments you realize how insane they are without even having to visit
Amy even went to CZcams to comment against the episode it was hilarious
I still can't believe Sammy tried to threaten Gordon Ramsay not knowing Gordon's an actual black belt in like karate or jiujitsu, don't remember which one but damn. Imagine Sammy trying to swing at Gordon and in self-defense he just slams Sammy with a filet-mignon of a center punch to the solar plexus before telling Sammy "I'm suing you for trying to attack me also your food sucks and you suck. I own this place now"
I heard it's karate. Sammy would've received a hefty knuckle sandwich that's for sure. But I think the threat was not of a physical confrontation, if you get what I mean, remember: "I'm the gangster".
gordon ramsey is the real life Sanji
Reportedly, Sammy was convicted of drug-dealing and extortion and deported. Amy was convicted of fraud. I think Gordon legit might have been threatened and that's why he stopped the yelling and walked away.

@@roycethompson3161 also other sources had valued him at more like 800 million
But samy and amy were deported
i don't care if i've watched this episode so many times, ill rewatch 10000% if u react to it bruhhhh 10/10
One thing I can agree with about corn, something I don’t like, is that it doesn’t digest. Literally the “casing/skin” of the kernels doesn’t break down when digested and it bothers my stomach. I actually do want corn, I like it depending on what it’s with and how it’s made, even plain for the nostalgia of having it as a kid but I feel like I can’t eat it sometimes cause our bodies legitimately can’t break down that skin on the kernels
12:14 you are absolutely right PewDiePie. That is exactly what they were expecting. They didn't want Ramsey's help, they wanted his validation.
And a scene....
Except for that one restaurant that Gordon Ramsey actually liked called Mama Cherri's Soul Food Shack in Brighton.
@@dianaphan7848 she seemed to genuinely care
Luck just wasn't in her favor
These people are nuts
Asking Gordon Ramsay “Who the fuck do you think you are” is the most fucking hilarious thing ever
Reminds me of the meme of Tony Stark, “take off the suit and what are you”
Tony: Billionaire, playboy, CEO, engineer, businessman. Should I go on?
Cpt America: Okay, I get it
😂😂😂
real ☠️
I mean there are chefs accomplished enough to say that to gordon
But none of them are on kitchen nightmares and most of them are in europe
@@V2ULTRAKill And those who are accomplished enough won't typically yell that in Gordon's face either.
I knew once I started searching pewds
everyday there would be a banger in my recommended and here it is
At this point I think i have watched dozens of episodes on ABC, and it never gets old..... LOL
The part where Samy was threatening Gordon was wild af. Samy apparently had criminal charges (drugs & extortion) and was banned from two countries. Dude was later deported from the US cause of it.
so he was the gangster.
He does look like a criminal
@@piippiz more like piece of crap lol
So, why was he imported, exactly?
Also, Amy ever been in jail for identity theft. I feel so bad for the person who got his / her identity stolen.
Fun fact: Sami was deported and those cakes Amy made that looked so good were made by another bakery. She didn't make any of them herself.
Wait, what?!
LMFAO.
@@loading...8512 i think theres a wiki page on this episode (and on other episodes, like s where are they now)
`it’s all over the place.
" I don't allow people to have a attitude in my restaurant" continues to have an attitude. maybe she should leave the business
Fun fact: there's a bar in England that has actors who act as Karen's but are actually nice people
That power move when he handed the server a tip was "chef's kiss"
as someone whose majority of their income comes from tips, the fact that they're stealing this poor girl's earnings is both diabolical and illegal and these people need to be held accountable.
this all happened Years ago by now
They were charged and the dude was deported back to Israel, not sure if girl when with him or not
I'm pretty sure they all paid for being that crazy
Technically they can pay her minimum wage hourly and it's not theft the way they didn't say it all went to owner might've been illegal but even waiters that don't get enough tips can actually make the owner pay up to minimum wage
@@CYWNightmare According to Katy Cipriano's AMA back in 2013, the staff were paid $8/hr, which for the time, was higher than Arizona's $7.80 minimum wage.
That being said, an extra 20c is absolutely not worth having to put up with any of Amy and Samy's bullshit.
They may not like the food but they come for the entertainment.Thats top tier 😂.
Its like Ramsay has met his match when it comes to fiery personality.
I think they brought Gordon Ramsay in to PROVE that the customers are "WRONG" and the restaurant is "actually GOOD"
Fr
unfortunately for them
gordon actually has a brain
If you watch the full episode the legit say that’s why they want him to come in
My favorite trivia from Amy’s baking Company, is that the pastries she had wasn’t even stuff that she made. She literally just went to a pastry restaurant bought a shit ton of their stuff and then just put in her restaurant.
I actually was there.
@@wsleeau6400 like you worked there or ate there? lol

This episode is still fun to come back to.
What isen't fun is that these people actually exist, and there are not just these two.
It's rather sad to see.
I love it when she gets criticized once
