I think I can actually die from laughter. Whenever I laugh too hard, I’ll have a hard time breathing (like, I will be super out of breath and wheezing and it becomes super hard to hard to breathe because I can’t stop laughing). It’s gotten to the point where I’ve physically collapsed on the ground multiples times and one time, my vision blacked out.

There was a similar story to democritus a few years ago in Japan. There was this kid who was this massive fan of dragonball, and his father sent Masako Nozawa (The person that voices Goku) and told her that he had a month to live, and it would be great if she could send him a voice message. This was a few months before the new dragonball movie was coming out, and whilst she was recording, she said “I’ll be waiting at the cinema, so please come!” in goku’s voice most likely thinking that would never happen. Then, for some reason he was able to live till the release date of the movie where he asked to go and he was told to see it on a bed in the cinema. He was considered incapable of seating, however he managed to sit through the entire movie. The next day after seeing that movie, he died. RIP.

Earlier this year I literally “saved” a turtle because it was picked up from the pond and dropped by a bird. The turtle was spared because it bounced off the soggy grass.
I legit thought it was dead, didn’t look injured but the drop was significant. Picked it up, put it in the pond and boom it was “fine” and swam away.
I totally believe that dude died from a falling turtle.

My favourite fictional death is the legend of Wan Hu from ancient China. According to the legend, Wan Hu was a Chinese official who attempted to be the first person to enter space and touch the moon. For this he built a chair to sit in while he used two kites to direct his flight. In order to lift off, he strapped 47 fireworks to the bottom of the chair to propel himself upwards. However, when the fireworks were lit, they immediately exploded, burning Wan Hu to death. (In other interpretations he was severely burned and the emperor berated him and slapped him for his incompetence). Thus Wan Hu was the first failed astronaut.
While this story is considered fictitious, there is a crater on the dark side of the Moon named Wan-Hoo in his honour.
Now I see where Dreamworks got the inspiration for that scene in Kung Fu Panda
