  • The DJI Agras T50 is the latest iteration of agriculture spray drones. Featuring dual radar, improved propeller design, updated spraying systems as well as innovated headlights for dawn and dusk operations put the Agras series at the top of the leaderboard for yet another season in a row. Come along with us as we demonstrate how to setup RTK, HD mapping as well as spraying with the new DJI Agras T50. I’ve been flying RC helicopters since 1985. Those white rotors are begging for red tips or whatever color or pattern that stands out most to the operator. Love the big machines. Surprised they haven’t developed a hybrid version. I’ve used Jetcat two stage turbines but a diesel generator is more efficient and less expensive.

      Thanks for watching! It sure was spraying. We used 4 gallons of distilled water. You can see the liquid levels decrease as the mission progresses in the map view.

    Thanks for sharing the video I much appreciate it, how can take the videos and photographs from DJI T50, and how can connect with Arc GIS? Thanks in advance!

      @DroneNerds  Před 23 dny

      No Arc GIS Compatibility unfortunately. The only way you can get media off the T50 is through screen recording in the RC. After you do the mapping mission, the media is gone. Thanks for watching!

    Can a predefined path be uploaded to the controller and executed in a way that it follows this predefined navigated path (straight lines, curved lines, zigzag etc.)

    • @DroneNerds
      @DroneNerds  Před 22 dny

      You can upload flight missions via smart farm. I don't believe a curved or zig zag is available at the moment.

    Just got my t50. What have you found to be the best flight parameters for the fastest, most efficient spraying? With the t30 Ive always sprayed at a rate of 2GPA, 9.8ft height, and 23ft/sec but I'm interested to see your input on the t50

    • @DroneNerds
      @DroneNerds  Před 9 hodinami

      Its really dependent on what the crops are and what chemical is being applied. Thanks for watching!

      @@DroneNerds mostly 2,4-D on grain/pasture land and glyphosate on roundup ready corn/hay. What do you suggest?

    Excellent video, but please lower the background music. Thank you.

    Does the drone need the mapping done before or is that optional? Or is it just more effecient when it’s mapped

    • @DroneNerds
      @DroneNerds  Před 21 dnem

      It's optional. The GPS uses Google Maps as a base. You would want to map for more accuracy, say if something on the property changed recently. Thanks for watching!

  • @ndoukeutchatatblondel688

    How did you get the initial aerial image of the zone to spray?

    • @DroneNerds
      @DroneNerds  Před 13 dny

      The remote uses google maps initially, then doing a HD map with T50 makes sure its up to date. Thanks for watching!

    Do we need RTK base station for mapping?

    • @DroneNerds
      @DroneNerds  Před 12 dny

      You can also use an NTRIP Network.
