Very interesting to see the adoption of this kind of technology into agriculture! Haven't seen anything like that up here yet, but I think you'd need an army of those to cover the hundreds of acre fields in my area. Still, I can certainly think of uses within the lawn care / landscape business. Thanks for the video!

If you had 2-4 of these drones operating in the same large field could they be synchronized to not miss an area or not spray an area twice?
This is great technology for farmers.
The APP of the drone will automatically plan the spraying route, ensuring no areas are missed.
Yes, there is a route segmentation feature that allows you to split a field into multiple sections and assign each section to one of your DJI Agras T50 drones.
I could see this technology to be a real help and price wise for farmers.

A totally amazing class of drone. Police standard I would guess. Makes my DJI Mini 3 Pro seem like a Lilliputian 😂 I used to train guys how to use backpack pesticides sprayers. Dilution and spray output and width etc was always an issue for them (and for me😂). This seems to make it easier.

There is so much technology in this drone. Unbelievable that it does everything automomous. The turns are xtremely smooth. Does the farmer need a special licence to operate this drone?
Several.
Yes, there is the FAA part 107 license, Exemption for over 55 lb drones, FAA part 137 license and each state has its own pesticide and chemical handling licensing. Please contact support@talosdrones.com for more information.

Yes, it comes with two nozzles, but you can add two more nozzles. The extra nozzles can be purchased as a kit.

Whats the battery life ? Looks like you almost use whole battery in that run . .
The flight time on the DJI Agras T50 Sprayer drone while spraying with a full tank is 7 to 10 minutes. The charger takes about 10 to 15 minutes to charge each battery. We recommend 3 batteries and 1 charger per drone to spray continuously.

Yes
Yes but our rep told us that the new batterys are way better and wont last nearly as long in the T-50

For smaller farms this must be more economical, but I wonder how it scales, cost wise, to very big farms as compared to a crop duster airplane?

with all the stuffing around to be done a crop duster would have been finished before you started
On a small farm/orchard/field, a traditional crop duster is overkill.
You had the controller in your hand while INSIDE the sweep area of the blades. That scared the hell out of me. You don't want your hands near the controller while in that danger area, because you could drop the controller, or hit a wrong switch and start that thing! Safety first, my friend.
I’m sure he appreciates advice from a guy that knows more about drones than he does like you.
This happened to me with a 4 inch drone and cut me to the bone this one would take a limb 😮

for one, you are pouring the chemical in the container the wrong way round, it will splash all over the place, trurn the container with side facing the receiver before you tilt and pour
So a farmer would need to get their part 107 to use this or just assume all drone pilots use this as a daily flyer? This thing could also be used for hunting..imagine filling up gallons of deer urine and using this to spread over a field..oh yeah!

WOW - BAD design for the 'fuel' to be able to splash/leak [1:14] on the Power Distribution Board = relocate either or both parts so that NEVER happens!! Lost me there - L8R, G8R...
