I completely understand that introverted girl, and I know how bad it feels to have low self-esteem. Nobody chooses to be socially awkward. People blatantly pass comments without considering how they will affect the lives of others. There must be something wrong with her that she isn't confident enough to address. Even though it has been years, all of the bully comments are still fresh in my mind, and not everyone has the courage to simply let go of everything.
That eventually leads to self doubt (like you mentioned she doesn't like to take pictures) and social anxiety, which is a disorder. The solution is to seek assistance because there is clearly no shortcut and no motivational lecture would help, at least not in my case. Your therapist would assist you in improving. And just don't be too harsh on her, she might be struggling with it.

Story time: I worked as an Office Manager in a Real Estate Company in Dubai. It was a startup and my boss asked me that when clients will visit, i want you to make coffee for them since we dont have an office boy. I told him immediately that i am sorry, i can’t make coffee for anyone since its not in my job description. He was surprised that a brown girl is telling him that she doesn’t want to do what she’s told to do.
A couple of times he said some sarcastic things to me like you know in USA, in startups people make coffee for themselves and clean after themselves and its not considered as something beneath them. I said yes exactly, I don’t mind making coffee for myself and cleaning after myself. The keyword is for MYSELF. The girl at the reception ended up doing all those things which the office boy was suppose to do. Like make coffee, wash cups, keep the pantry clean and take the trash out.
This is for the girl who was asked to take the trash out. Just say NO with a resting bitch face. That’s what I did. Sometimes you have to act like you have nothing to loose even if they fire you. The more you act scared and say yes to everything, the more they will exploit you.
I am all for teamwork and everything, I worked like crazy but I draw the line when someone asks me to do something that’s totally unrelated to my job. Best thing is to ask for a Job Description when you’re hired so you know what you are expected to do. Even if they do taal matool, be dheet or sweet and keep asking the HR person or your boss to provide you a job description.

Last email made my day. Today we get to see actual Junaid. I was waiting for this kind of email for a long time.
First Email response - I think that you guys took enough time before marriage to talk and understand one another. Now, that you are married I think its a time game. As the husband, you need to first communicate with her and lay out how you are feeling and let her respond to that. In cases where the wife is introverted and not the expressive intimately it often is because she is shy. I myself was an introvert (now I am ambivert) but for me to open to even friends or in my past relationships I took my time too. Sometimes your partner (girl or guy) are holding back emotionally because they feel they wont be accepted or understood. So I think as the husband, open her up internally. Ask questions about things like her insecurities or traumas or fears and once she starts sharing with you she'll fall in love because thats what partners need somtimes. Someone to just hear them out without any judgement and to be loved regardless of flaws. Any partner, the guy or girl, will absolutely love that outlet of emotions. So try that.
Appreciate the sensible take on this.
Some people don't realise that when when a person has self esteem issues even a genuine compliment can sound like a trap. When a person finally loves and accepts you, it feels like it's a dream that will end in few minutes when u wake up.

I just feel that if a couple is able to overcome this hurdle of acceptance...the level of love that can be nurtured, acheived, and shared is unmatched. To responding to the first question: you wanted a meek and subdued person n now you've got that you want them to exhibit opposite attributes, thori zyadati nahi ho jaegi? I'm glad that Junaid Bhai mentioned it that people have different ways of expressing love, maybe for her, making you a cup of tea of taking care of your other needs like time pe khana kapray is a way to do that. Secondly, as Junaid Bhai said that people in our culture aren't taught to express their feelings or desire openly, so you need to nurture that. Maybe she requires you to initiate because woman initiating intimate behavior is frowned upon in our society. So talk to her, learn the reason and nurture your relationship so that she can also express her feelings the way you do or you want to.
To all those saying marrying the Christian girl why did she has to convert the other way round is also possible so when saying this one shall be open-minded and mature enough to support both either guy becomes Christian or remains Muslim doesn't matter

When someone carrying trauma or carrying something in head always stop them to express anything, it be anger, love, depression, pain. I myself just don’t express anything, kinda extreme introvert. One of the reason of this cause is when you actually feel low, having insecurities. Or kinda you feel if I would do this, the other will judge me this way, it’s kinda you keep assuming things which never exists. Communication is the only solution ♥️ Whereas physical relation is concerned people like her/me ( Introvert) always want to have soul relation before having physical relation. Communication Communication and communication is the only solution. And just be careful before hurting ppl like us because vo her baat dil pr laity hien. And then they become just silent with numb feelings.
