I was lucky enough to get the keys to this awesome car and wanted to share my quick blast up this canyon road with any fellow gear heads. I'm just your average car lover that happened upon this great opportunity to wheel one of the fastest production Mustangs ever made! Chevy, Mopar or Ford guys should appreciate this car...750 Horsepower in a production street car is flat-out cool. Unfortunately my lack of skills don't do this car justice on the road...but this video will give you a taste of the immense power, ferocious sounds and sexy yet menacing looks of this American muscle car.

Good vid. I've had a few Mustangs and I love em but Ford seems to always put too small of tires on these high powered cars. A car with this kind of HP needs at least 315s.

Very true the only down fall of both of my supersnake was traction issues but I was able to fit 305 on the rare and what a difference still spins but not as bad. If I had a wide body with 345 out back it would hook all day considering the car makes well over 800hp.On the stock pirellis p zeros I hate to say it with only 275s it was almost useless. At 80 mph down shift to 4th gear and pin it I broke the tires loose easily. That was the only downside of the car.Weight wise I am lighter that the camero and way light than a challenger by almost 500lbs.
I have a 2014 GT500 with 750hp with 315 nitto drag radials on it and it's still almost not enough.
One of the best looking cars you can come across.If this pulled up at the lights every pedestrian would stare wide eyed.
Despite the car's many useful features, it will never replace the horse warm smile, understanding eyes, crazy antics and whimsical humor.

I would really like to know what type of cameras were used to record this. Specifically I am interested in how you were able to capture the engine nose so well without wind noise. I'd love to do the same on my 07 GT500! :)

Dawolff Well the video itself maybe but I can guarantee you that's not GoPro audio. I have a GoPro Hero 3 and the audio sounds terrible when I record with it due to wind noise.
PJthePlayer It could be a GoPro.. There are ways to reduce the noise by the way you place it and if you use the back housing of the waterproof case.
Still doubtful. The GoPro just doesn't capture that good of audio even sitting still. It does support the use of an external mic which is probably what they did for this video.
PJthePlayer Little late but i'm 90% sure the engine noise is being picked up off the in car mic the host is using,

I saw that, you would think if any car would have real brake cooling ducts it would be this one and for 80K why the hell not.
They do have break cooling ducks do you own a Supersnake
They are real dummy.I have a 07 and 10 super snake.The brake Ducts are real.The car is a street legal race car.PERIOD

Never heard of rear brakes cooling,or just don't bother install fakes scoops.
Roger Burtnick why should they cool rear brakes when its 60:40 front brakes need cool on 90% of cars not rear.also there is the fuel tank somwhere there so there is no that muck space left.finally if the brake's truly need cooling you think ford wouldnt know that?

I did an owner interview a few years ago with one of our club members and he let me drive SS GT500 ... just after the rains had fallen on slightly slick roads. The super charger would scream and wail like a banshee every time you put your foot into it. Scary fun. You are right - there is no messing around behind the wheel. This car requires 100% concentration even when the trac. control is on. Absolute pure brutal HP and torque.

That whine never gets old, man you got that right. That sound is really amazing. Nothing snarls like a Ford V-8 or makes the torque. This thing eats lambo's and burps.
I like this video more than usual because he doesn't talk a lot. When I want to know a lot about the car itself, I watch their other videos or I look up everything myself. This guy just has simple statements every now and then and then sticks the camera near the engine so we can hear it loud and clear and just drives.

I own a 07 and a 10 supersnake.Very well built and crazy fast and in my opinion with a set of slicks on a track it will take a demon.I may have a little more power stock but I am over 400lbs lighter so you do the math and I don't think there is a American made muscle car that trumps the supersnakes.
Sounds like a very angry monster. Nice work with the engine, the Whipple TwinScrew is one of the best units out there.

I love the video and I have a 07 427 convertible super snake and a 2010 grabber blue GT500 super snake. I really think Shelby under rated my super snake.My car with just a tune put down 750hp on the dyno to the rare tire.So at the crank were looking at well over 800hp

That is a bad ass ride. I would take one.
That's an easy one! As a driver getting to know a vehicle, I would like to experience the unbridled capabilities of a vehicle. Electronic "nannies" get in the way of that. Launch control is a different story and works great for just that. Besides, it's impossible to power slide through corners with the TC on...and being able to do that is why I love to drive.
