I'm more impressed of Alpha for holding it down against Hank the TT AWD Truck. I thought Hank was going to walk Alpha a train length. Sidenote, I'm excited to see some content with Justin and his cars now that Gavin found a house in Atlanta.
McLarens are fast af even bone stock. A stock 720s can trap 140+mph in the quarter, although it is faster than a 600lt, but it’s not surprising seeing it hang with boosted cars.
Not to mention that Hank the truck is wayyyyy Heavier than the mclaren which is just mind boggling to see them actually be competitive with eachother
Hank is not at full power either, do not think he has ever turned it up past half.
The Mclaren is 2,000 pounds lighter though
man gavin doesnt get enough credit on how tasteful his builds are. Hank, alpha, the gt350, the black car, the termi, etc. Theyre all so damn clean

0-60 in 2.73 is insane! 4600is impressive with AWD, big heavy bed cover and turbos, full size truck, and full interior...that thing would probably be easy to get sub 4500 and not miss anything and go blast easy 9s on a strip
They are over 5600lbs stock I'm just wondering where he lost 1000lbs. He never lowered the hoist all of the way down on the scales

No. A new body single cab with the small eco boost is less than 4100 pounds. A 5.0 4wd quad cab is only 5600. This truck is right at what it’s advertised to weigh.

Okay for perspective, Hank weighs 4633lbs, a '21 Widebody Hellcat weighs 4586lbs (per dodge). That's less than 50lbs in the difference!

Little bit of both. ideally that hellcat would be tapered down to around 3600-3800 and that truck stock from Ford and not Shelby Could have been 1000lbs heavier. The car based off a heavier average for rear wheel v8s the truck, off the factory specs from Ford.

They're both equally matched in top end it's just the McLaren has a bit more lower end because the turbos spool up faster because on the McLaren when you get into it all of your power is instantly there but in the truck when you get into it you can hear that the turbos are not spooled up completely

I think it’s crazier seeing the truck run 10.29 in the quarter on the street. You might be able to get it close to the Black Car’s fastest pass, which would be crazy lol.
It probably is faster than the black car back then turned all the way up imo. He has some caution cause he doesn't want anything to break on the truck which is honestly the smart thing for him to do. I was most surprised that the 600lt that has nothing done to it was right there with the truck neck and neck

The biggest concern I would have at this point on hank would be the tie rods and axles when taking off from a dig, but I would love to see what this does on a drag strip with slicks all the way around.
