Hey Mark, Thank you so much for this lesson. Chris Smither inspired me to take up the Blues Fingerstyle Guitar, back in 2006. Now at last, I can play one of his tunes, thanks to you. Thank you. Time for me to search out the Chris Smither instruction DVD, I think, now that I know at least some of his tunes are playable.

I'd never even considered using open tuning on the baritone ukulele or guitar......I had no idea it would make it so much easier. I found this tutorial really helpful, thank you.

Great Lesson. Thanks. Everyone else gets it wrong and teaches it in standard or double drop D. You are obviously correct it's in open D, THANKS!

So if you play a song in which feeling is critical really fast, you've really improved the mood? /

Impressive. Just wondering why you play it so fast? Slowing it down to the origianal makes it essier for the nanoseconds involed for the changes and all-round playability. Just my two Somalian shillings. Bravo.

Thanks Gary. As was mentioned by other viewers, way to fast !! Slower tempo and less caffeine when I redo the video.

while I appreciate you showing us the chords it would have been great if ... just once... you were to show us the fingerpick on the right hand... just once... Someone did ask you for this. FIVE years ago!
