I just started getting into knife throwing. This was such a help, thank you!
Thankyou
Insurance really making you put those guards on lol😂
Great instruction!
I'm going to try these tomorrow
Thanks well explained
So you had mentioned as long as its an approved wood and a proper target its regulation. Does that include projected targets? Or does it NEED to be painted?
I think for me the biggest issue is moving from just throwing at the 12 foot line. From 12 feet I can stick no problem, but from 10 or 15 I can't get a consistent land or consistent aim down. I feel like I need different throws for different starting marks
Mario can you do a segment on sharpening different knives
No military Half Spin? No No-spin throwing?
I just bought a WKTL knife - these things are HUGE - there is no way you could throw it like that - they are almost like mini swords
@@V9bct7 Yes you can
Why such big guards?! These guards make it difficult to land shots with other knives already on the board. You should use Acejet knives Stinger Breakers come to mind.
Where can you get the knife you were demo'ing with? It looks like a chromed version of the WKTL stinger knife.
I was wondering the same thing!
Looks like this is a knife they plan to sell later this year.
Quick Updates: In making the video, we realized that there was mention of the thumb being behind the guard and it speeding up rotation. It actually slows down the rotation as you get to control it more. Thank you!
Hey man where are you guys located
Where can I buy those knives?

So you need 5 to compete, but they are sold in groups of 3?
They're currently thrown in a max grouping of 3. So you can be OK with a set of 3 no problem but it's a good idea to get some backups!
What knives would suggest for a beginner?
ace jets arrows! cant go wrong.
Just started knife throwing with you knifes 🔪
I find that at 10 foot not sticking at 14 foot sticking
Any thoughts
Release earlier or choke up on handle
TEAM NO SPIN 🤘🏻🔪 I CAN HIT 10 METER BULLSEYE NO SPIN.. WHAT'S THE RULES FOR NO SPIN?
This is KNIFE TOSSING.
You have no power.
Throw it like you mean it!
Even if it doesn’t stick, a hurled piece of metal’s gonna hurt.
You’re trying to reinvent something that doesn’t need reinvention.
Why have guards on a throwing knife 🤔
We have over 100 venues that are a part of WKTL. Those venues all have axe throwing set up. The guards prevent knives from bouncing into the other lane and are there for safety. We built and designed them so they are removable if you didn't want to use them for home use.
@@WorldKnifeThrowingLeague I am sure any thrower would love to see footage of testing of how the guards actually dampen the ricochet effect to the point that they are necessary to have. I would also ask, why would these be more useful than fencing along the lanes?
But ugly knives with a totally unnecessary guard. And where Eurothrowers have one page of rules there are a damned book here.
@@reidbelstock2651 we have fencing along the lanes at our venue, but the guardless knives have a tendency of slipping through the holes. The guard helps it get stuck in the fencing.
@@WorldKnifeThrowingLeague Yeah that's BS... The guard actually cause more risk of ricochets and ruins technique it's flat out stupid.
Seems like this is all about regulations and using authorized this and that’s….lol. What has America come to?
Very ugly throwing knife why not make the holes in the cage smaller and let people use their own knives
You never make a full rotation when you throw a knife :) In different situation you will not be able to meashure your distance like you do inthe Video.Come on, we are not stupid
